Thanks for the replies. I also fixed the link in question: http://goo.gl/gVdN5].

So, what kind of e-cig would I need to be able to use those atomizers? It says "These are threaded to fit with any Gentleman's Battery OR eGo threaded battery (i.e. joyetech, Vision, etc.)"

Don't know what a Gentleman's Battery is, but the eGo threaded batteries are threaded batteries. The eRoll battery has no thread.

If you wanted to use the atomizer for the Gentleman's Battery, I guess get whatever atomizer they say it uses (or dig around and find out what type it is: KR808D-1, 510, etc.) If you wanted to use the eRoll atomizer, get the eRoll or any battery that uses an eGo-C Type A atomizer.

not so sure this is a wise idea but....I just had to

photo (15).jpg

I noticed when cleaning the tank, there was a plastic insert under the top cap of the tank.It forms a compartment in the top of the tank. I just had to try a draw with both pieces off. Interesting, you get a fuller hit. More vapor everywhere into you mouth. Its more like an analog cigarette hit. The down side is that compartment will stop and liquid from getting into your mouth if you have a leak.

Has anyone else been vaping like this....or I am the only crazy one:facepalm:

I saw that, but feared jacking mine up (liquid spilling everywhere and screwing it up permanently), since I just got it.

I just use my eGo for those hits/feelings, and resign myself from getting that from my looking-normal portable smoke.

I just carry a small needle tipped bottle. All I have to carry is the pcc with the eRoll and the bottle of juice. Less stuff than I was carrying around with the egos.

Right now this is the only thing preventing me from buying an eRoll - the fact that I cannot really carry spare cartridges and would have to refill as I went along. That might be fine some nights - but if I've had a few drinks, my skills and depth perception may make refilling a messy job.

The size and portability, convienience and size of the ecig and pcc is unmatched in my opinion. the only issue is finding a nice little case for spare carts when i am out for long periods.

Is there a way that spare carts can be prefilled and prevented from leaking? My initial thought with this eRoll, like you, was that is like carrying around a pack of analogs - no need to tote around a bunch of batteries and what not. Which was the point for me - an easy cig-alike that I could use when out. But I do need the ability to change carts when I'm out; I don't want to sit at the bar refilling, and it seems like there is no way to fill extra tanks and carry them with me without them leaking.

Prefilled carts don't leak. They have a good cap system that prevents leaking. Walgreens sells a pill case that holds 3 carts perfectly and it is quite small. Changing the carts is quick and easy. No need to refill, just swap a prefilled. cart. The walgreen pill case is 2 for $1.79 I believe or like $1 each.

Get one of those screw cap needle tip bottles like in the Johnson Creek pictures earlier in the thread. If you can't get the tip into the tank with that, it's time to stop drinking and call a cab. :p

Tip: use double sided tape to add some thin foam to the insides so the carts are held still and the case doesn't rattle like tic-tacs in your pocket when you walk.

Good idea. I am still hoping to find a small case like the walgreen one that will hold 5 or 6 carts instead of 3.

I have one of these. It holds 5 prefilled carts loosely. I have carried 1 unwrapped cart and 4 prefilled carts in it, and it was a good fit, no clacking when I walked/ran. Out of stock at the moment, though :( .
