The more I read this thread this morning, the more I became intrigued. I love my Twists, Mini's and mods. I do like a what the eRoll offers however it is automatic and I usually do not have any luck with those. I fried my first SD keyring because liquid got in the battery. Ordered another and was afraid to use it very often so I put it away.

Anyone have problems with juice getting into the battery?

I overfilled a tank and had a substantial amount of leaking. Totally my fault, not at all a flaw with the system. That being said, I definitely got juice in the battery connection. It still works perfectly. That may not be the case overall, but I wouldn't worry about it. These auto batteries seem a lot better than the old style. And they are only $8 if one did get ruined. :)

It isn't so difficult:

-Order a 325, 400 or 500 mesh.
-cut from it a piece about 20 mm long, 16 mm wide
-roll it until it's about 2 mm diameter
-cut it in half, so you have two 8 mm long wicks.
-Take the original wick away
-put the new to its place, so it is slightly touching the coil inside of the atty.
-ask advice from here if something goes wrong:)

Some of us (can't speak for DSFA) are lucky if we get our shoes tied :D The above sounds difficult to me!

Can anyone point me to any previous posts about rewicking the atomizers and/or how to disassemble them? I'm really curious about SS wicks in these. I love my eRoll, and adding life to the attys would be great.

This thread is great btw, but man it's tough to find specific info when it's this long. Thanks for all the info guys and gals.

So I picked up an eRoll kit last week (ordered from Rocky Mountain Vapor on Thursday; it was in my mailbox on Saturday) and gave it a test drive over the weekend when we went out Saturday night. Overall, I am quite pleased with the system.

As someone else said above, it is not made for chain vaping. However, it worked perfectly for what I wanted, something small, compact and similar to an analog for being out and about. As many places here are not vape-friendly (although a few places are), I still stepped outside like any other smoker to vape (no big deal as it was in the 60's here) - spent a few minutes taking several hits off of it, much like with an analog, then popped it back in the case and went back inside. It replicates the experience of an analog really well.

No problems with any leakage, and the PCC did not lose its charge before the end of the night. I also really like that the entire eRoll can be popped in and out of the PCC as a whole, unlike with the older 510's, that had to be disassembled in order to put them into the PCC. So much easier. Other than swapping out a cartridge, it was just like going out with a pack of analogs and a lighter. It has been a while since I have used auto batteries, so it took a little getting used to again. My main issue was that I seemed to instinctively hold it where the airholes are, so I just need to be a bit mindful of that until I get used to it.

The only improvement I could think of would be a slightly larger (wider?) PCC that would also have space to stick a couple of extra carts and maybe an extra atty, just to be able to keep everything in one single case. That said, its a huge improvement over the 510 PCC systems for an analog-like e-cig.

Have to agree 100% with everything you said. You will get used to the holding it to avoid the airhole pretty quick. I agree that the PCC could stand to be wider to hold some carts, that was my #1 complaint, but I have learned to live with that using the walgreen's pill box. I may try that altoids can soon as well.

I'm sure I'll be fine with the same setup.

Honestly, I've never been completely satisfied with any type of PCC.

I still have my original tanks.

Junkman, i checked for the scratch off. The MFS atties didnt have one, the Wordup ones did. They even have a joyetech box. Maybe an old batch idk?

Remind me which ones were full of gunk? The MFS or Wordup?

Which ones didn't have a scratch off?

Could be a change in production I suppose?

MFS taste like junk and no scratch off. The box is slightly different too. I swear the new ones(wordup) work better if they did change the line at all

Edit: I thought this was funny =) And its only with an 18350

I've replaced all of my wicks with stainless steel. I haven't killed an atty yet and I bought my eRoll kit in mid December.
However, I noticed today that one of my atty's has developed a tight draw. Might have to do with the 100% VG juice that I mix up. I ulled the SS wick out, rolled another one and I'm off to vaping like it's a new atty! These eRolls are amazing!! The 5 atty kit I bought back in January are hardly touched.
