I got it to work too. but the unable to do it consistently. Maybe with practice, but I won't because I can do the syringe without worry. But nice to know it is possible, even for me if the Moon is just right

:)

And even when it works for x number of drops, suddenly one sticks. Then I what do you do?

I spent half a day (nearly that long) trying this way of refilling, depleted half a bottle of juice as well, Uhh -- not a single drop entered the tank, neither "rolled" nor "streamed". In fact, I couldn't ever drop anything on the sides at all... most of it "touched" and trickled down to the place-mat... Whatta mess!

U guys r pretty smart:2cool:... and I'm one clumsy 1d10t out there I guess:confused:.

I think the idea is to get a drop on the bottle tip and place it against the edge of the hole, with the tank held at an angle. The drop sometimes is drawn into the tank. Other times, at least for me it gets stuck in the hole, or just inside which prevents further drops from entering. I have also been able to fill tanks quickly using this method, but just not consistently.

It seems to be a skill that you can develop. I just don't think it is necessary if you have syringes that you can fill with. I am glad I can do it if necessary but the circumstances in which it will be necessary for me are limited and it doesn't seem to be as efficient as syringe filling.

True.
And I've no issues in removing the end-cap and filling the tank either. That's what I'm doing till date; and everything is hunky-dory. I'd yet buy one "needle/pointy tip bottle cap" this weekend from the store.

Really? Doesn't it get messy?

No, You just have to squeeze and release to allow the air to escape from the tank to the bottle.

I've been able to drip into the tank, but I have to hold the bottle above the edge of the hole, not on it. It is tricky. I've done it in a pinch to add flavor but, I use needle bottles.

Okay, I haven't bothered to read all 68 pages of this thread but I do have one question. Can you drip and/or dip with the eRoll?

I've used atty+tank systems before, and while I like them I actually find them messier than dripping. And yes, I know all about the dangers of dripping on an auto; that's all I've done all day every day for nearly 3 weeks now, and it's the only method of vaping that has been successful in keeping me away from cigarettes completely.

So, can it be done?

No, can't be done really. Not for any real purpose, because it charges with the tank in place. I suppose you could put a tank on just to charge and then take it off to drip, but there doesn't seem to be any point. And there is no way eRoll tanks are messier than dripping. Maybe older style tanks, but not these. I find the flavor of tanks/attys about the same as dripping.

Maybe. But you would have to remove the tank every time. And you would also have to remove the cone as well, especially if you wanted to dip. While it may perhaps be possible, there are many other setups that would work better for dipping. The beauty of the eRoll is the atty/tank and the pcc. Taking it all apart to drip would be a total pain.

Actually, now that I think about it, you could use it to drip -

You would probably want to remove the wick bridge which is quite easy, leaving just the exposed coil.

You would need to find a drip tip to fit the cone - or just use the cone as a drip tip, but it might get hot.

It would have to be the same length as the tank OR !!! you could find something to put in the pcc to take up the extra length. The pcc works by holding the tip of the battery next to contacts at the end of the pcc. As long as you are able to create the same length with the drip tip and/or a "filler" it should work ok.

But honestly, there is so little difference between dripping and tank attys that it isn't worth the trouble and the tank attys are easier to use, less messy.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...84223d1362455865-joyetech-eroll-photo-13-.jpg That is the tip I was using in the vid. They are free from Johnsoncreek with every 15ml bottle. I purchased some 10ml Joyetech liquid and they have silicone tips that work as well. Most ejuicers use a generic bottle top opening. I have been able interchange all the tips and caps.

I won some NicQuid in a contest and they have these same tips. They work really well and they don't leak like the other needle tipped bottles I used.
