I love my eroll, but I find it very hard to rely on it for my out and about routine. The tank is just too small it runs out after 10 drags lol. I have yet to find a way to effectively carry extra tanks or a bottle in my pocket with out worrying about them exploding in my pants lol. Anyone have any advice?

10 drags? I get at least 50 out of a tank, and i take good long drags. I use a U can, and was using needle tip bottle before. You definitely need to carry something around. If youre only getting 10 drags a fill, something is very wrong though

Wow, my ears were burning while still in bed and then I came here and know why now! So much talk about the large quantity and MG e-juice I vape!! I have a lot to say here but let me first answer this one. I too enjoy my eRoll and it is great for stealth vaping and out and about for the most part but you do have to fill it and change the battery fairly often, especially if you're like me and want to vape on it more than it can charge the battery up (like if I'm out having a beer). To me, the Reo Mods serve the purpose of a no-fidget vaping machine. I would highly recommend the Reo Mini for your needs- it holds 3ml of whatever juice you want and one AW IMR 14500 battery will last you half of that bottle and several hours (up to 4) depending on how you vape. It is a bit pricey- I believe new it is at about $135 new, but if you are can buy off of the classies, I've seen them under $100. You'll have to buy batteries (RTDVAPOR.COM) and a charger (I recommend X-Tar) and atomizers. Rob, who makes the Reo (reosmods.com) sells atomizers in the LR configuration (510 connection) on his site for $3 each which is a steal! Anyway, I know the Reo is not for everyone but it's my main vape and I have 8 of them in one configuration of the other. The mini is just nice and small and works! I slip it into my pants pocket and it goes into work with me (along with eRoll in my top pocket). If I have to get a quick vape, the 36mg eRoll hits the spot. If I'm where I can take longer drags the Reo Mini loaded with 18mg hits the spot. Oh, and I should mention that there is a rebuildable bottom feeding atomizer called the Hornet that fits the mini and a new one or two coming out soon. Both of my Minis have Hornets on them so I don't buy atomizers anymore. The vaping experience is extraordinary!

I'm filling a tank right now and it only holds about 8 drops... Am I doing something wrong?

It depends on the size of the drops i guess. Like i said, im getting about 50-60 puffs a fill. I dont even know what could cause you to lose liquid so fast, i just know there is no way you should only get 10. Even if i puffed this to battery cutoff taking the maximum sized puff each time i still think id get 30-40, so it shouldnt even be possible

Edit: Idk why, and i hate to even ask, but are you positive youre filling the right spot? There was an isntance in this thread someone was filling from the wrong end and not even taking the cart off to fill in this thread. You just never know...

How mini is this mini? Any comparison pics around to check out the size of it?

something seems wrong to me, also. Just grasping here..are you trying to fill it from the mouthpiece end (top hole)..no probably not it...ummm..sometimes my tank ACTS full of there is an "air lock"...liquid drips down the side rather than filling up the tank...be sure the side vents are opened up..with a paperclip or small screwdriver. the lack of airflow makes them look a lot fuller than they actually are. I have had that happen several times. I also get around 50 per tank. My battery lasts exactly as long as my tank..lol

Hmmm I don't have a needle tip or syringe right now so I've had to open the cap and I start dropping in there, maybe there is air in there, didn't even think of that, but I can see it filling extremely fast ill check it out again when I get back home. Thanks.

Love my ucan...just sayin'. lol

Now I wanted to mention about the "quit-time" and pressures concerning that. Btw, I am posting because our school system (I work as a school psychologist with our local school system) called off school today due to the freezing rain and dangerous weather. Anyway, I first decided to try vaping in the fall of 2010 because of my many, many unsuccessful quit attempts prior to that and no matter what I did, I maintained about a 2 pack a day of camel lights. I guess you would say I was determined to do this so I did have some motivation. I was 50 and would be 51 in February and my goal was that to not have the pressures of a New Years Resolution to quit but quit before the end of the year so that one day, I could say I quit when I was 50. I don't know why but that was what I decided. Anyway, I did not know about the ECF or any support out there- I got the idea of vaping from seeing someone using a Blu at the bar. I asked him about it and he was sold on it, but he also told me that there were other "better" e-cigs out there. So, I did an internet search and did a little research. I decided that a 510 e-cig was the way to go. So I searched for the best price and plopped some money down on a starter kit and then looked for some e-juice. I believe the first place I ordered my juice from was Freedom Smoke USA. My juice came but my e-cig did not. I waited and waited. Finally I wrote the internet company where I ordered my e-cig kit from but they did not respond. My Visa card had been charged but this company did nothing and so I had to call Visa and reverse the charges. I was sort of disillusioned now with the whole thing. It was the middle of December and Christmas was approaching and we would be away from town on a holiday break. Anyway, I ordered another 510 kit and had them send it to my relative's house where we would be staying. It arrived the day after we arrived there! So here I was trying to switch from a 2 pack a day to the 510 e-cig kit. Plus, I really didn't know what I was doing. I had ordered 16mg juice I believe and didn't know at that time that I had a sensitivity to PG. Anyway, long story short, I sucked on those little e-cigs so hard that my gums and teeth hurt...I was trying to get more nicotine out of them and use them much harder than they were built for. However, after a few days of using the kit, I had run out of regular cigs and I vowed I was not going back but going to find a better way!!

When we got back to our home in late December, I got on the internet and stumbled onto the Reo subforum here on the ECF. At that time I believe it was called the "Sales Info Thread for the Reo" or something like that- Rob was not an approved vendor back then. That said, he did not have any Reo's on his site either. He would plan a 'sales night" and you had to try to get information in while everyone else was trying to also buy a Reo and there were limited quantities. Many tried in frustration and came away empty handed. This is not the case today- Rob has many Reo's up on his site and there is not a frantic dash for them anymore, unless he has a brand new Reo of a different style coming out and then when he puts them up on his site, they are typically gone within minutes. Anyway, back to my story. The first sales night I was involved with changed my life. I got lucky!! Within a few days, the Reo Mini was in my hand!! It was a back one with a silver door and although there is a short learning curve, I learned to feed the juice from the bottle (called squonking) and it was a pleasure to vape!! No more hurting teeth or gums...and I had learned why I itched all over- no more PG for me either. The rest is history! I've accumulated different Reo's because they are cool, hold different capacities and just work! The latest one I have is a Variable Voltage Grand which fires up anything and works flawlessly!

I will say that within a a month or so of vaping, I longed for a cigarette- I asked my wife if I could "try" one of hers. "I wanted to see what I was missing," but after only a puff and the horrible taste, I gave it back to her. Seems I needed this reminder a couple of more times...anyway, analogs have been a distant memory for me now. That said, it has not been as smooth for my wife who also smoked (and still does) the same brand of cigarettes that I did. She saw my transformation from smoking to vaping but wasn't convinced. 1. That cigarettes are really as bad as they are made out to be, 2. That the e-cig is really less harmful 3. She just likes smoking. I got her a Reo Mini and she used it sporadically- mostly in the morning and on her way to work so she would not smell like a cig at work, but as soon as she got in the car to go home, she was smoking a cig again...and on into the night. She finally told me that she really didn't like the "box" that she was "smoking," and if there was another alternative. I bought her a stick type e-cig but larger than a mini e-cig and that was better. The latest thing she is using is an Ego Twist with a tank on it. More and more she is using this and her smoking has decreased but she still smokes...and this is over 2 years. So, everyone has their journey. I really don't think she's necessarily trying to quit smoking but I think it's happening to her gradually and she will eventually quit the analogs when the time is right.

So, to all of those who are putting unnecessary pressure on themselves to "quit," I believe the well spoken words above that it's not the number you smoke but the number you don't that matter is great advice. Everyone has their own journey and their own time...

I admit that I'm still addicted to nicotine (Duh!!) but I do not feel that it is a harmful thing at all. Without it, I do not concentrate, am forgetful and just generally don't function well at all. I also know when my body has had enough nicotine. I could feel a bit queasy and my body says enough and I have no desire to vape. Sure, I ingest a lot but vaping is not nearly as effective as smoking so we are getting a fraction of the nic into our systems as we did when we smoked. Remember when you lit up that first cig in the morning how it would give you a head rush? Even with 36mg nic juice, it is very rare that I get that sensation. It's more of an effect of "equalizing" the way I feel when I get that first burst of nic-juice in the mornings...and then all throughout the day. Now I am rambling, but that is why I am so opposed to the FDA who is looking at limiting the nic content in e-cigs. We are all at a different place in our journey and some people need very little nic but others need a great deal- we should all be able to use whatever levels we need!!

Now a plug! Please go over to the legislative section of this forum and find the link to the petition to the White House and sign it if you haven't already. We need 25,000 signatures and we are over half way there- the deadline is Feb 13! We need to stay free to Vape!!

Over-all thinner and has less width. There is also the Mini 2.0 which is as thick as a Grand (18500 battery) but the same width and height as the regular mini.

A pack of 2 of these at Vapingzone.com (where I get my super concentrated flavors for DIY) for under a buck. What do you think, would this work (seems you just put it on the end of a regular dropper bottle)?

They might work, they look thin. I know the ecblend bottle tips work if youre careful. Some of my juices that are just a touch thinner seems to drip fill just fine if i hit the side of the fill hole, but other liquids just blob up and spill over

I remember someone on here insisting that you could fill from a regular bottle if you held it just at the edge of the hole and I thought, yeah, right, not me, I would spill it all over the place. I love my UCans, but one of the things I like best about the eRoll is that I can try new flavors without committing to a whole carto or clearo. I don't want to fill my UCan with something that I might only vape one eRoll tank of. I hate popping the plastic caps off to refill because it's a pain and because I know it can weaken them so they get stuck on the atty when you remove the tank. So last night I decided to try to drip directly into the hole with my 50/50 juice and OMG, it worked like a charm! As long as I kept the tip at the edge of the hole, it filled right up. I was so shocked! My apologies to the member who suggested this for not trusting him/her and giving it a try sooner. If an air bubble formed, I just flicked the tank with my finger the way a nurse flicks a syringe to dislodge air bubbles and all was well. Now I can try a different flavor with every tank if I want to without hassle. :)

I notice that the ucan has a little air hole at the base of it's needle that sucks in air as it dispenses...you can hear the liquid dribbling out...but if that air hole is turned towards the filling hole of the eRoll tank and is even slightly blocked, the liquid can glob up at the entrance and spill over. The trick is to get that air hole turned the other way, away from the eRoll tank opening and angled so that it is not obstructed- then it fills up quickly and effortlessly. Has anyone else figured this out- know what I'm saying?

Mine does not have an airhole there lol. Think there is two different models?

If you take a few hits and put it back in the case it will stay charged all day. It's true the tank doesn't hold much but you can carry full ones or use a needle tip bottle and have a full one in seconds. The main thing is size and quality of vape. I think it nails the pro's and addressed the con's better than anything else in this segment of the market.

I carry mine around with two small blunt needle tip bottles in a case. For me, that is easier than carrying around extra tanks.

Hey guys! eRoll in hand! Very impressed with the size and weight. Now, it's not as tiny as my Nano but very cozy to hold and use. Fast question: The atty has a rubber circle thingy on the bottom. Does that stay on or should I pry it off?
It stays on...its the o-ring to keep the atty in place and most likely to protect the battery connection from leaks. Hope you like it as much as I like mine!!
