I keep Q-Tips in my vaping tackle box, to swab any condensation and juice from inside the sleeve when replacing a tank. And a roll of toilet paper for wiping the tank before inserting it. A baby wipe is handy for cleaning your fingers to avoid getting juice on the outside surfaces ...
Been using 10ml needle tip bottles that I originally bought for injecting Ego clearomizers. Filling them from the vendor bottles is another chore, but it helps me to track my juice usage, and they're easier to control than a syringe for fillling the tiny eRoll tanks ...
I have a covered plastic tub, like a sour cream container, with 91% isopropyl alcohol, where I soak any atomizers that start to taste burnt. Most of the time it clears away the gunk, but I have a few that are stubborn. Will have to open them up and try to scrub the coil. Or it may be that the wick is clogged ...
I've yet to start opening up the atomizers for maintenance, just tried it on one so far and managed to break the coil, they're very delicate. A pair of needle-nose pliers works for extracting the cap and for pressing it back into place. Of my original set of 12 atomizers, all but two are still in rotation after 3 months of daily usage ...
There's a detailed thread here about atomizer maintenance, including re-wicking, and at $4 each, they're worth a little effort to extend their life ...
My only frustration with the eRoll so far has been losing one in a bar. It lives up to its name, the little devil rolled away and I never did find it !
