Just got a bottle each of Intellicig ECOpure Rich and Regular at 4.5%. Tried the Rich first and it's not bad at all. Quite good actually. But what struck me most is the vapor production -- tons more than the liquids I got from MFS. It also is a much warmer vape.

Going to stick with it a while to see if I'll use it regularly. It's pretty pricey so it will take some more careful consideration, but so far I like it a lot :)

Intellicig ECOpure is 100% VG so you're going to get the maximum vapor possible.

So how tight should the mesh fit in the spike. How long, do you have it? Way up into the bottle or just the top of the spike or somewhere in the middle. Im about to try this but wanna have as few attempts as I can muster to get it working right.

Do you have it rolled solid or with a small holl in the mesh.

EDIT: Ok, here is what I got. At first I had the wick all the way to the bottom, past the coil. I think I got a little burn taste but I pulled it back up and its now (I think) at the top of the coil and it taste fine. This is pretty gnarly. Everyone that likes mesh should try it. Im actually using 500 mesh since I already had a wick laying around from another project that didnt take off :)

I have also #500 mesh but when I tried that, got burn taste or dry hit. What size piece of mesh you cut for it and is there center hole in the wick?

Ah that explains it. The TH is pretty good too.

I had some 90% VG from Parkes Vapor that didn't produce as much vapor as this though. It also didn't feel warm like this.

The only negative thing I'd say so far is that it's got a bit of a caramelized sugar taste to it that I don't love but then, it covers up the taste of the VG which I don't really care for either (tastes kind of.. soapy to me).

I dont remember the size. I had made it a while ago and it was basically scrap I already had. There is no hole in the center but it isnt rolled super tight. Id say it leans toward the tight side of middle though as I had to compress it more than it was originally to fit it in. Since that pic I angle cut it at the top right at the top of the hole and its not working right anymore. I should have left it alone lol. I still had another wick piece laying around and I set it up like in the pic and its working great. No dry or burny hits at all so far.

your eroll is fine...minor glitch. it is not wicking properly, the burnt taste is most likely the wick. a few things to try...when dry hit first appears, try pulling the cart slightly to break the seal..letting the liquid settle into the atty again...or..take out the tank..push the wick down very slightly with a pin and add a drop or two directly on the post..if either of these work and improve the flavor..open up the side vent on the cartridge with a pin ..small screwdriver...whatever..they collapse a bit from the heat of the cone and keep the liquid from flowing freely. If the nasty flavor continues..you may need to dryburn the atty,,clean of the wick and start fresh. (add liquid to the coil and wick before you fire it up agsin :D. Hope this helps

i found this further back in the thread...remembered luckily. the post is from jester 4 12-14-2012, 03:46 PM #409

"Basically all I did was take the needle part off by gently prying it up and off, then I rinsed off the atomizer in hot tap water and blew it dry. I then placed the atomizer back on the battery by itself and then gently blew through the tip (gold part where the contacts are) and did that several times. When I finally was satisfied with how it looked I put it all back together with new wick. My dry burn process may look kinda silly (especially if the wife came down at that exact moment I was doing that ) but seems to work quite well."

I did not know how to credit the original post "properly" so I just pasted it.. :D

i would recommend getting an ego c or ecab... even if it is just for a good dry burn. It will pay for itself in refubished atty heads...a double function back-up..lol....just a thought.

If there is an air bubble you can shake the eroll and see it rise away from the wick, if youre using really thick liquid you may want to do that from time to time, it helps to keep the liquid all on the wick. If i get an air bubble i always get a burnt hit

i dont like to give advise without having tried it first..so this time I tried it second..lol. I uses my eroll to dry burn the atty just like jester 4 recommended. for this to work the atty cone needs to be in place. I would not blow through the battery for more than a second or two. working in front of a mirror helps a lot. personally, I am a bit uncomfortable with this method, but it does work..just not sure how grat it is for the battery, since is not quite meant to function this way

You my friend are a life saver.

I have the eRoll and find the fact that you can use it till your nic craving is satisfied then drop it back in the pcc until needed again. I think it has only been twice of owning it for a week i was forgetting to put it in the pcc and drained the battery to where it needed a charge  This alone in my opinion is the best starter kit for n00b's.

Anyway, while planning to get a second one of these erolls for myself i was trying to figure out how to clean the atomizer....a ego-c conversion kit which is usually a few extra dollars compared to the lone 5 pack of spare atomizers does seem to make a lot of sense now.

Okay... So this thread peaked my interest.

I have a few questions :)

Does the PCC scratch at all?
Where can I buy the cheapest one?

It can scratch, i hear it shows less on the white PCC than the black, not sure on the chrome. I have all 3 erolls, but only the black PCC, and personally i feel the chrome looks the most refined, then the white, then the black.

As for the cheapest price, i saw someone in this thread that found them for 49.99 somewhere but i dont know what the shipping is. I purchased mine from wordup ecig with the promo code e-cig and it was about 62 with shipping, but i think they removed that code and the only one left is ecig fro only 5%. Their juice is absolutely exquisite and you get a free 10ml with the purchase, the 80/20 works like a charm in my eroll, 2 months on 1 atty without any boiling/dry burning/etc

Got a white setup for my wife but she doesn't like changing and stuck with her eGo/Vision combo. I've been messing around with it for a couple weeks and it's really growing on me. I've got a lot of mods Provari, GGTS, Vamo, several wooden box mods etc. I also use rebuildable attys because a lot of the juices I vape have a lot of solids in them and require frequent dry burning to keep them in top shape. They all go well together. One thing missing though has been my Halo juices. I sometimes get a craving for them and just gotta have some, but I don't like putting them in my attys because they linger so long. Decided to try some torque in the eRoll with a LR atty and found a perfect combo. It's the first thing I grab in the morning when I wake up. The Halo juices are so clean and thin they work perfect with these attys. I'd like to try some Boba's in it but I'm sure it wouldn't perform the same. Think I'll keep it as my Halo kit with a few dedicated attys and be happy with it.

The juice i use is undiluted kosher 80/20 and is pretty thick, it works really well as long as you give it a shake to get the air bubbles away from the wick and to the top of the tank, otherwise they block the whole end and you get burnt. If you find the Bobas still too thick you could always add a few drops of distilled water or vodka to thin it out if you have a separate needle fill tank

edit: sweet score on the wife not liking it btw, ive been using mine 2 months, and its all i use now.
