Just today I noticed two web sites saying Joye has raised their prices on all Joye equipment. They just might price themselves out of a strong and competitive market. I like my Joye C-Twist but will change if prices continue to rise.

Yep, eVic is gone to $139, was already too expensive at $104. They also seem to have raised the "easy head" another 5 bucks (it's just a retooled eGo-T Upgrade head with usb charging) ...and are pushing that small replaceable atty they've had forever.
Also, their price increase hit FT as well (although it's still a bit cheaper at $99), not sure what it was before that though.
I have heard they were looking at about a 33% increase. Seems over the top to me, clones are already widely available as well as other manufacturers own products. Unless the rest of the companies follow suit, joyetech just may price them selves out of the market, they don't really offer much that can't be found either better or cheaper now.
And if the rest of the Chinese companies follow suit, outfits like ProVape may benefit. Of course ecig technology isn't that high tech, companies in other countries may jump in if China gets too greedy.

Joyetech is not China. It is just one ecig company (out of thousands) - a drop in the ocean in the grand scheme of things....
Kanger has what they call "eVod eGo batteries" that are the same as the eGo-T. Vision Spinner, Kanger eVod Twist and Smoktech Winder are pretty much a eGo-C Twist with a beefier capacity up to 1300mAh and there are also Vision passthrough batteries.
Not to mention billions of clones, and the starter kits with a 650mAh battery, charger and throwaway clearomizer for <$20.

Gotta say, I'm a huge fan of the eVod batteries. I pretty much always have an eVod with a protank mini 2 on me along with the evic. Don't particularly see any advantage with Joyetech batteries over the eVods.
The Evod VV battery is priced higher then the JoyeTech VV. I have nothing against Kanger as all of my clearomizers and glassomizers are Kanger.
