All joyetech products are branded with their logo.
If it doesn't say Joyetech, it's not real.
Most knockoff companies are calling their batteries "eGo" but it's just the eGo style.

I've used both and nothing has come close to the quality except the kangar batteries. A kangar eGo style batter and an EVOD work very well for beginners.

Actually all of JoyeTech's products are clones of other company's designs- pretty well all JT products were designed by Janty and Ovale.
As far as competing brands- Kanger, SLB, Vision, etc are very large companies and all make very good products. Right now I'm leaning towards Innokin products as they seem to be more focused on quality than competing brands.
Did you realize the "CE" that is on products from China is actually not sanctioned by the European Union...it's a knockoff LOL. No one in China will take responsibility for the CE logo but it supposed to mean "China Export". China= land of Patent infringement without penalty.

"CE China Export (mark)
In recent years we’ve got used to the fact that if a product bears CE mark, it is safe. The reason for this assumption is the goods’ compliance with EU standards. Unfortunately, there exists a much similar mark which the majority of consumers and even sellers understand as CE mark of the European Union. However, this mark symbolizes something quite different. This mark means that the product was manufactured in China, and means “China Export”. This similarity is not a chance coincidence. It expresses the aggressive approach and is used to confuse European consumers.
The China Export mark is not registered, it does NOT confirm positive test results and is placed by Chinese manufacturers arbitrarily.

PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE THE MARKS!!!!!!"

CE marking CE mark product liability china export CEE directive certified liability law EU negligence CE marking CE mark EU China marks China markings china pottery china manufacturing manufacturer China manufacture supplier

Its actually in the contract Janty and Ovale (I assume anyone else actually as one who deals with Joye says) signed with Joye to produce their products. I guess they figured (again assuming) that they would rip them off in a couple of months anyway so they most likely got a better deal agreeing to it. What I want to know is whether or not Joye invented the new BCC or if they ripped that off too so I could try one of the originals.

Yes. JoyTech got too big and before Janty and Ovale realized it they were in competition with JT. Problem is/ was JT was large enuff to produce all this stuff so where else to go.

HaHa--crazy

so what you say is, not only do they clone and rip off all others ideas & products

but do the same with the CE labeling ...

...silly boy, I should have just figured this

I trade the Mkts and you wouldn't believe what goes on in China. Just google RTO China and you'll gets lottsa stuff. Last yr 50+ U.S. publicly traded China stocks delisted cuz earnings were falsified. Problem...Chinese Govt does not allow proper auditing to be done cuz they say it's a risk to the country's economy. ALL BOD of the above delisted and BK companies residing in China and no charges brought against them LOLLL.
One last example...For New Balance, a Surprise: China Partner Became Rival - WSJ.com
When I was thinking about becoming a Vendor my lawyer suggested I hire someone in China to do all the negotiating and closing of contracts.
