Joytech cubic where do you insert the coil?

I purchased the joytech cubic and I am not sure where I need to put the coil? I inserted the atomizer but not sure about the coil?

The coils appear to thread onto the chimney coming down from the tank cap, with the o-ring on the coil seating into the bottom of the tank..

The knarling on the bottom of the shaft is the coil.
