Ok, I used a utility knife because that's all I have and I got the tiny tube out from the inside but it's still not big enough and the hole isn't smooth. Guess I kind of hacked at it. Any suggestions for smoothing it out and making it big enough? The utility knife is too big to fit in. Thanks, at least I feel like I'm making some progress...

Do you have enough room to cut it again a little closer to the base?

No, I cut it very close to start with, wasn't counting on having to cut out the little tube. It didn't say anything about that in the original post to show cutting it off. Sorry I'm such a pain, but I'm just not mechanically inclined. Also, I have only one more tip like this, then I'm done. Thanks again...

If you mess up your other tip, PM me and I'll send you a few.

Keesie,

After reading this thread and you saying your not getting a new spring then one of the first things I would also do is take your Batt out and work on that spring as well as the other things you are doing, take a piece of fine sand paper and sand all the rust spots off of that spring, sand the whole spring and even take it out by undoing that screw on the bottom and sand the bottom of the spring platform, everything, once that is all cleaned up your Mini will then fire much better, just my thoughts

That's exactly what I'm planning on doing. I have to wait until Friday ( my day off of work) to get to a hardware store to get the proper allen wrench. Right now, I'm trying to fix the problem from occuring again. I luckily have a back up mini but of course the same thing is happening with the juice so it's a matter of time until this spring also gets rusted from the juice leaking all over the place. I'm looking for a permanant solution to the o ring problem. For me this is the achilles heel of this otherwise ultra fantastic mod. I recommend it to everyone.

Thought I'd post an update. I have a dremel sort of tool that I never used but went to the hardware store and got a bit the worked, mostly. It's still a littel raggedy but I was able to get the tube through the opening and it seems to be working, at least for the last 2 minutes. I took the mini with me and told the man that I needed a size .50" allen wrench and he found one but said it didn't fit. So, now I'm off to a different hardware store this morning. I thankfully have 2 mini's and I ordered 2 new springs in case I can't fix the rusted one. The springs should be in by Monday so now it's just finding the right allen wrench and I should be in business. I'll update you again when I find the correct allen wrench. Also, where can I purchase more drip tips that come on the bottles or cheap bottles with the dripper tip??? Thanks so much for being so kind and helpful. Sometimes I feel like such a dunce...

A lot of juice Vendors sell their samples in 3ml bottles that work with a mini REO, Kick Bass Vapor, The Vapor Room, Want to Vape all do, might be worth it to buy some samples to try and get the bottles you need also. You can get empty bottles from most DIY vendors, JuicyLiquid.com, eliquidplanet.com, & diyflavorshack.com all sell just the bottles. You really shouldn't feel like a dunce, we have all had lots of questions in our time!

Just ordered some 3ml empty bottles from freedomsmokeusa. They look like the ones in the mini. Now I just have to cut the one dripper tip I have left and hope I do that one right. I'll let you know if my search for an allen wrench works out and if I can get the rusted spring working again. Thanks again, what a wonderful group. I'm proud to belong...

So far I've tried 2 local hardware stores and one auto parts store and a Staples (hope against hope) and nothing. I do have a harbor freight store but it's about 15 miles away so that will have to wait until maybe Monday. Thankfully, I have a back up mini or I'd be going out of my mind. Right now I'm going to attempt cutting another driptip, the only one I have left so I can have a back up for the one I cut. Eventually this will all work out even if I have to send it back to Rob with the bad spring it will now be fixed. Been vaping all day and no leaks!!!!!!! So very happy. Just hoping I can cut the other drip tip successfully. Thanks again for all of your help and I'll let you know how it all fairs out.
