is it possible to soak a burnt taste out of a coil head without any other hassling with it
If it's not too far gone, yes. Soak it for a long time in cheap pure grain alcohol or vodka. If it's a bit further gone, you might have to try more intense cleaning, like dry burning. (If you do go that route, make sure the coil is as totally clean as possible.) If there's too much gunk in the silica wicks, they can be replaced with new silica wick or organic cotton balls (just make sure never to dry burn cotton because, unlike silica, cotton will burn).

I feel so lost cause I keep reading how people are chain vaping, how their heads last weeks, etc and it's like I don't think I've had one even work half a day yet. I spend more time fidgeting then vaping.
I think you will get the hang of it. We will do our best to help you get the most out of your equipment. :)

I've only used a few stock coils in my protanks 1 & 2, because they seemed very inconsistent to me. One would last two weeks, the next only two days. You can rebuild your own coils with better quality and performance, cheaper too, with a little patience. So don't throw away any of your atomizer heads, in case you decide to give rebuilding a try. I could tell you how I make my own if you're interested, its also talked about all over the place here and youtube has some great vids too.

As far as the juice goes, I don't like tobacco flavors, just menthol/fruity stuff here, so I don't know about that. I did find that 80/20 pg/vg juice was too thin and constantly flooded my protanks. I switched to 50/50 and haven't had any issues since, it's wicking great for me with ZERO leaking...

yes, if your pulling too hard, it could be flooding your atomizer head and leaking onto your battery connection. Try taking your tank off and cleaning with a q tip. I would also suggest not removing the flavor wicks or turning the silicon gasket around if it's flooding or leaking. People usually only do that if they're getting nasty/dry hits because their thick, high vg juice isn't wicking well enough and they need more of an opening for the juice to flow through.
