Hello all. As indicated by my name, I don't know much, but I would like to think I might know a little. I purchases a Kanger Mini Pro-tank II about 3 months ago, and I really like it for all of its easily replaceable parts. I recently purchased a Vision spinner battery to go along with it. (Adjusts from 3.3-4.8V) I have been pretty happy with my rig. However, in the past few days, I've noticed that my liquid seems to be disappearing at a pretty alarming rate. I don't chief on it all day, and a tank full usually lasts several days. I have refilled every day for the past 3 days. I haven't noticed any leaks anywhere, and I haven't changed anything but the flavor I've been using. What could be causing my liquid to disappear so quickly?

Have you cleaned you coil lately? A gunked up coil isn't as efficient as a clean one.
No leaks = You ARE vaping more than you think
No magic, mystery or weirdness - just usage.
With no leaks, this would be my next guess. Maybe lung improvement and bigger draws?
I did up the voltage a little, but I didn't think it was enough to make such a huge difference. Maybe I HAVE been vaping more and just haven't noticed, but it seems like it's going 3 times as fast as normal, and all of a sudden. I thought surely there had to be something amiss, but maybe not. Hmm...
This is funny as i too thought i was going through a unusual amount of juice also. My friends claim a 30ml bottle lasts a month and i have ran through 30ml in a week but I am vaping pretty regular its just so darn delicious.
Upping your voltage will make a bigger difference than you think.
Set at 3.2 volts, you'd be pulling 6.8 watts
At 3.8 volts =9.6 watts
At 4.2 volts that would be 11.6 watts
At 4.8 it comes out to 15.4
Since watts are a measure of heat and power, the higher your watts, the higher your juice usage.
Also, vaping gets more and more enjoyable and you get used to larger hits with time

Exactly! I just noticed the rapidly disappearing liquid, but I guess I just haven't realized if there's been a significant difference in the amount I vape. Apparently that, combined with a slight uppage in volts has contributed to the vanishing juice. I feel dumb now lol. I was convinced there was some sort of conspiracy.
Haha you upgraded batteries, creating more enjoyable Vape, leading better flavor, thereby sucking down the juice due to yummyliciousness... Wait til you go RDA on a nice 20+ VW device... It was cheaper for me to Smoke LOL. Never going back though. Vape on!

Sometime you dont realize how much you vape and next thing the liquid is finished and time for a refill.
Well, as it turns out, I may have a small leak after all. I was refilling this morning, and discovered a small buildup of liquid all over my coil. I cleaned it up, refilled my tank and put it back together. Now I'm getting poor hits and hearing some bubbling going on. I posted my setup in my first post. Any ideas as to what causes that, and how to fix it?
Sounds like you're flooding it. First thing to do is check your air intake holes. Rinse them in hot water and make sure they're fully open.
Sucking too hard can also draw more liquid into the coils (which then drips through the air hole under the coils and onto your 510).
Lastly, I didn't notice if you mentioned, but if you had 2.0 coils in it, and replaced them with 1.6, you'll burn through more liquid (this won't be the cause of your latest issue, though)

Thanks for the reply. I've taken everything apart, cleaned it up and reassembled twice today, but still seem to be having an issue. It looks like it's trying to leak from the bottom. I have been taking gentle, steady draws, but have been getting the "straw" effect and not much else. I've wasted a lot of juice just trying to figure out what's going on. Definitely frustrating.
I must admit the rubber gromit that was on the coil stem (I don't know technical terms, sorry lol) seemed to be in the way when I purchased the coil, and wasn't allowing my tank to fit properly, so I took it off. But that was two weeks ago and it hasn't been a problem until now.
That is most likely your problem.That silicone boot is meant to make the seal.

It looks just like the old one. I bought it from a local vape store. It's not "Kanger official" but it's been working okay til now.
