I am a little concerned about my consumption rate of eJuice/Liquid and how long it can sit without gumming up.

I am using two types of clearomizers. Regular 2.4ohm and XL 3.0ohm on a 3.7v v-GO. I decided to go this route because with carts I couldn't tell when I was vaping the filter versus the juice. There was times I was getting this burnt plastic taste, so I went with the clearomizer. Visually inspecting the clearomizer I know when I am running low on juice.

With that in mind I am finding that I go through 0.8ml of juice in about 30 minutes to an hour. Is this normal ?

Also I find I am cleaning 5 clearomizers a day. At first I was pre-filling them but I noticed if I let them sit for a while that the liquid tends to thicken. (This could be my imagination). I attribute this to air getting into the clearomizers and drying the liquid. I imagine the thicker the liquid the harder it is to wick.

In summary I attribute consumption rate to being a newbie with initial fascination of the eCig/PV. 2nd, I seem to get more vapor and throat hit with the thinner juice than the thicker juice. I am using 100% VG.

also should I clean and dry burn between each refill ?

Any feedback is welcome.

I've only gone as high as 70% VG and that seemed to have trouble wicking in the clearo's. Also, I've read but not quite observed first hand, that VG burns off faster than PG. That could be another reason you're going through so much juice. Unless you have an aversion (or allergy) to PG, I'd try adding some to your next order of juice, see if that helps.
