I'm having an issues with flavors: as in a can't really taste them.

I've been vaping(no analogs) for almost 2 weeks and frankly, the taste isn't there.

I enjoy vaping much more than smoking, and I realize I have to let my taste buds 'rebuild' and at first I was tasting flavors(to an extent), but now it's... gone.

I drop, I use atmoizers, I use carts and it all pretty much gives me the same result. I started for the first few days with a 510, then quickly got the Boge Leo at the end of the first week: the atomizer on the Leo is bad, it came bad. I did the priming and all that good stuff, but no matter what I did, it just tastes burnt and it's not actually drawing any juice; the supplier is replacing my atty no problem, but after using the Leo(even burnt tasting and while priming) the 510 doesn't compare for me :(

But beyond the equipment differences, even the 510 while dripping doesn't give me much! I started with some Dekang liquids that weren't very good, I then order 7 samplers from Freedomsmokerusa: Pink Lemonade, Pina Colada, 555, Smores, Tootsie Roll, Cappuccino, and Cherry Limeade. I was given some Wyatt Erp, which was very nice! All 24mg. Some of the fruity ones taste soapy at best and the other ones really don't have much coming through.

Am I doing something wrong? Are my taste buds just recouping? I just .... don't feel like I am doing something right.

Halp!

I've been vaping now for going on 6 months. I had the exact problem up until a couple of months ago. I tasted the flavors at first, then for a long time I couldn't taste any of them. I was trying different flavors and getting good TH and vapor. After a while it started getting better. Now I can finally taste again. I'd say just wait it out, you're still getting your nic so maybe you can stay off the analogs long enough to see it through. You might try some stronger flavors if necessary though. Some juice vendors will let you add 2x or 3x flavoring.

Thanks guys :)

I did order this next couple bottles with extra fluid. It's not that I even mind the 'bland' taste perse, I like it that much more than regular smoking I would probably be okay with no flavor! But when you are supposed to be able to experience things a certain way, well, you know, you want it that way. lol

You really need to give it a couple months, and you will have those days that things just don't taste right. Your vape will just taste kind of flat, we have all gone through it.

Okay, as long it's a normal thing, I will be more than happy to give it a few more weeks and see what happens. :) Thank you for your response!

Yeah, I go through that at times now after 9 months of vaping. Particularly when I chain vape all day. I write it off as sensory overload or something.

Okay, so chain vaping will have a tendency to mute the taste? I thought so, but wasn't so sure.

i am having the exact same experience.

2.5 weeks into vaping and love it! started with 510, just got my ego yesterday, ego rocks... however i lost the taste about a week ago:( also on fsusa juice.

Well, according to everyone else, it's normal and we gotta wait it out! lol

I really hope it's not the juice, I hear such good things about it and vendor is awesome. I hope it's just a combination of A) my bad equipment and B) the fact I haven't given my taste buds too much time to bounce back.

Thanks everyone for your response :)

i so understand the fruity flavors tasting like soap.... i got some raspberry truffles from madvapes and filled a cart ... the first vape was like chocolaty soap... so kept trying thinking it may just be in my head... but nope still that soapy aftertaste so i'm thinking maybe they need to steep? idk i have them open in a high cabinet ( got kids) will try again in a week.

The chocolate covered strawberries also tasted a little soapy but i tried them with my drip tip and after 4 or 5 puffs the soapy taste went away and i could taste the berries.... also make sure you shake your juice before you fill or drip etc. to make sure the pg/vg/ nic/ flavor are all distributed evenly.
