I sometimes feel lightheaded. Starting a few days into the change, my nose runs. At this point I'm not sure whether its too much nic (I doubt it since I stick to 11mg or less), too little (fine with me as I want to get used to less and hopefully none ultimately), a PG issue, or (most likely?) part of clearing out what tobacco's been leaving in my lungs and adjusting to vapor.

1. Is there any disadvantage to VG instead of PG? I'm going to be ordering some JC liquid, so I can pick VG. But if its thicker and may shorten the life of my attys, I'll stick with PG.
2. Did JC fix the problem that was causing atty problems?
3. With DIY juice, same atty concern. Liquidxpress (flavors I like are out of stock right now) makes a point that they use watery liquid flavors. Lorann's is a thicker oil - any risk to the atty with Lorann?

Thanks to all - these forums are a HUGE help.

What you're probably experiencing is a combination from tobacco (and other chemical) withdrawals, as well as your body adjusting to its intake of PG and the sometimes elevated intake of nicotine. I know that I experienced some lightheadedness and a running nose when I first made the transition to these, but it will pass. Be careful with how much nicotine you're taking in, though. With analog cigarettes, it's easier to gauge intake, with e-cigs or pv's, there's no "end" to speak of, and you really have to pay attention to what your body is telling you. It's an adjustment, but you'll eventually get the hang of it, and vaping will be much more pleasurable.

In my opinion, there's really no distinct advantage of VG over PG, per se, but that all changes if you're allergic to PG. Some people are, and the VG liquids are a life saver. Some people say VG produces more vapor, some people say PG does. Some people say VG is sweeter, while others don't notice a difference. Much of it is subjective.

JC has, for all intents and purposes, corrected the issues with their juice clogging atomizers, but you've gotta understand that atomizers are going to get clogged over time, regardless of concentration.

Thanks for the very helpful answers. I hoped that the lightheadedness and runny nose were from the switch to vaping, so it's comforting to know other people experience the same things.

I think I'm being careful with my nic levels. I was a heavy smoker, but ultralites so nic intake was around 30mg/day. I've been buying low nic juice. Depending on the supplier they're either 11mg or 6mg, and getting 0 nic bottles of the same flavors, so I can mix the nic level down further.

Yep, I see from a lot of comments here that attys don't last forever. I'm prepared with 16 spares. No one's ever accused me of doing anything in moderation.

I'm going to go ahead and order some JC juice, low and 0 nic.

I'll be sure to do that. Can it be stored in the fridge (in an opaque box of course)? If not, I'll keep it in the basement.

I can understand you being nervous about the green Peach Cobbler; I would be, too. I have no idea what effect oxidation would have on this combination of chemicals. But I can't imagine they would let you use it if there were even a small chance it could harm you. I've seen a few other posts about liquids changing color, but don't recall seeing any comments by people went ahead and used it. You don't want to send it back? JC website says they take returns.
