I have read the threads on juice storage (thank you esp. Kurt!) and would like to start freezing for future use.
I plan to store in glass bottles in a dedicated freezer and break it down such that each batch is exposed to oxygen only twice before being used.
Due to the uncertainty of the impending FDA regulations, I'd like to store around a liter of 100mg PG and 4 liters of 0mg (some PG and some VG), which should last me around 4 - 4.5 years. Is this pushing its life too much? If the zero-nic goes bad in that time it's no big loss.
My strategy is in three steps:
1) transfer from plastic to glass. Nic juice: 1000ml --> 10 x 100ml bottles. Zero-nic: 4000ml --> 10 x 400ml bottles. (O2 exposure #1)
2) cut strength (500ml at a time, about every 6 months or so): 100ml @ 100mg + 400ml @ 0mg --> 500ml @ 20mg --> 10 x 50ml bottles back into the freezer. (O2 exposure #2)
3) flavor & vape! (Every 2 weeks or so): pull a 50ml bottle, break into smaller plastic squeeze bottles to suit, flavor, and store at room temp for use.
Your suggestions and opinions are welcomed--thanks!
