Maybe this is a crazy question.

I know alot of essential oils and herbs have health benefits. Anyone experimenting with vaping juice and these? I'd be curious.

One that comes to mind would be patchouli (hippee at heart here) I use it a ton in the summer, mix it with oil or lotion and use it as a mosquito/insect repellant. I've also read it has other benefits like helping sinus conditons etc. if used in a tea form. Not sure if it would taste like ... as a smoke juice, maybe combine it with something like a rasberry flavor. I was pondering today since summer is around the corner and I love to play in the woods and crick and a vape like this could be a benefit as I could become my own personal fogger! LOL!

There are many other oils that have health benefits too.

Has anyone experimented with these?

Try googling the terms "vaporizer" and "phyto inhalation"

Here is a place to start....very commercial site but lots of info too:

One of many many studies being done on this subject:

Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify antimicrobial properties of essential oils in vapour phase. In vitro antibacterial activity against five foodborne bacteria (Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus) was evaluated by disc volatilization method. The results were expressed as minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) in μl/cm3 of air. Thirteen of the 27 essential oils were active at least against one bacterial strain in the range of tested concentrations (0.0083–0.53 μl/cm3). The best results were shown by Armoracia rusticana (MIC 0.0083 μl/cm3) against all of the strains, followed by Allium sativum > Origanum vulgare > Thymus vulgaris > Satureja montana, Thymus pulegioides > Thymus serpyllum > Origanum majorana > Caryopteris x clandonensis, Hyssopus officinalis, Mentha villosa, Nepeta x faassenii, Ocimum basilicum var. grant verte. In conclusion, certain essential oils are highly effective in vapour phase and could be used in control of foodborne bacterial pathogens.

Hope this helps :)

I know from my days of reading about healthy foods etc that cayenne pepper has anti-inflammatory properties (of all things)..but I'd go out on a limb and suggest not mixing this with juice.

Adding a little humor here, lol

I don't know....it might make a heck of an Atomic Fireball or Cinnamon Redhot! :)

Seriously though....back to the OP....One other term you might want to Goggle if you want to buy things you can experiment with...for educational purposes only of course,...is "herbal glycerite". This will give you a usually organic, concentrated herbal that is dissolved in vegetable glycerine instead of alcohol. Of course it will be very sweet and you'll need to read labels carefully because they can taste so nasty that other things are added for flavor that you might not want. So your safest by starting out with single herbs instead of combo formulas. A couple excellenct and trusted sources are:

Mountain Rose Herbs
Eclectic Institute

I would be extremely intersted in hearing about peoples experiences. I personally have tried vaping pure Valerian as well as a compound of Chamomile,Catnip,Lemon Balm,Hyssop,Elder and Peppermint. And then tried mixing them together. Zip...nadda....nothing. :( Was hoping it would calm me down and maybe put me to sleep. It didn't. But thats me....lets hear about you. :D

Cheers!
