Juices-From Fame to Shame

Right now Frisco has a batch error. It is not the same recipe that many have raved about on the forum. It is missing a key ingredient or something that makes the one being sold now different from original Frisco. I do enjoy nutty, cocoa, tobacco flavor. Frisco is described as a very intense, rich, nutty base with hazelnut. The original still may not be in the right flavor profile you will enjoy.

Texas and Frisco were the first e-liquids that I was thrilled to finally find in my search for daily vape. Tampa wasn't a match for me. Tennessee is a good. That also has nutty notes. Yet, many other vendor's nutty flavors are not good for me. I think there's something in VS base that I like or maybe something that isn't in the base.

What I find ironic is the flavors I initially thought I would just love vaping when I started e-cigs, such as coffees, vanillas or caramels, are a no can do for me. Just making it more challenging for me to find the right ones.

I don't know why juice makers think that cigarettes taste like chocolate OR cherry.

I agree with the vanilla and caramel...that is what I thought at first. This is why ry4 has been such a disappointment for me. It had the exact ingredients that I was looking for. I do not think that VS should sell the Frisco if a key ingredient is missing. I did not understand when they mentioned the batch error. I never thought that it meant they were selling a juice that was missing something. That is totally unprofessional.

I ordered Vaperite - Rou's Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco, and VR4. Both are winners! I got a sample of Vaperite RY4 - fair to middling.

That is exactly what I do with the bwb honey flu...very handy to have a juice like that...I just got the ry4 from bwb out of the mailbox...You cannot vape this straight out of the box. I probably have to wait a month to vape this juice. I feel that is a huge negative for any juice. They must lose some business because of that.

If I did not know that you have to wait for this juice to wake up, I would toss it right down the toilet...lol

You are right, the vendor should figure out some way to handle that type of situation. The financials of the business might have something to do with it.

Waiting for juices sucks...but buy early and its remedied. There are some juices that dont need steeping, but still do change over time. Weird.

One more for the hall of fame. Mad Vapes - Mad 4. Very nice. Waiting on three new flavors from Nite Lite Vapors that just came out. Will let you know how they are. Gene at Nite Lite steeps his juices BEFORE he sends them to customers. Now that's good service!

Ok Frank, tried Janty RY4 today. Not too thrilled. Got all VG, and it doesn't have much flavor. Last week I got some Mad Vapes MV4, and I really like it, you should try it. Oops, sorry for being redundant.

That's ok...I have this bwb ry4 and thus far I am not impressed at all. It has steeped for 2 weeks now and it still taste horrible...if a juice cannot reveal what it's got in 2 weeks it's not worth buying. Because of all the hype on this juice, I am ready to place this juice in the hall of shame. This juice runs out of stock in 2 hours! talk about taste is subjective...at this point so far I do not want this juice for free...lol

I've only tried RY4 from two places: Liberty-flights which I liked and LiteCigUSA which I liked so-so but was more affordable than L-F. I haven't bought any RY4 in months -- just making my own juices and doctoring them until they are vape worthy.

I can't really list a hall of shame because several of the KBV juices I bought taste "off" because I bought them with added flavor. I intend to water down the flavor with pg nic and pg to make them vapable.

Frankster -- you won't have any trouble getting rid of that RY4 in the classies!

Upon reading this thread I feel I have to try Vaperite's VR4 so I've placed an order. How long do y'all think this needs to steep, or is it vapable upon delivery?

Hello there, The vr4 was great right out of the box. I think the Madagascar vanilla might be even better and the rao's toasted hazelnut is great also.

I still like VR4 a lot. If you want my Rou's Toasted Hazelnut I will swap you for the BWB RY4. I want to try it just to see if it's gross or not.

Also, I found that the Janty RY4 is good if I vape it a low volt. I was using 4 - 5 volts. Using 3.7 volts it is good.

Oh yeah, Frankster -- that's great to know! I read that people were having trouble with it doing something to their cartos. Was this with the 50/50 mix? I bought the 70/30 mix because I like pg better than vg. I vape SR cartos at 5V. I do have several LR attys left over from the Rivas I used to buy so I could use those in a pinch. I'm hoping though that I can vape it with a carto....

Every now and then I try a flavored e-liquid again...... Usually after a short while I cant stand them so I give em away.
I have been using Innovapors 100% VG unflavored for so long now that flavors just dont work for me........
