A couple weeks ago I bought 3 juices from MBV and there all great except banana cream pie. It just doesn't taste right to all the other flavors ive tried. It taste like a burnt crust. I've tried everything from a .4 ohm coil to a 1.4 ohm coil. I've also tried several different coils including a flat ribbon wire coil. I don't want to get rid of this juice because I've heard good things about this juice. Keep in mine I use an rda, and any help is appreciated, thanks.

•Also note it's a 20/80 pg/vg blend with 2 flavor shots

Maybe add just a tad bit of another flavor to it that you think would be a good combo. Honestly I can't really think of anything else since I've yet to get into the RDAs so I'm not entirely sure how they perform from personal experience. I just know that I've improved some of my juice flavors by tweeking them a bit with other flavors.

I like bananas in things I eat, like banana cream pie, and banana pudding, but I haven't found any banana juices that really hit the spot, either. Most of them seem to have a slight burnt taste to me. Same way with coconut.

I've found juices are kind of odd that way, because sometimes a flavor that I think wouldn't be that great, turns out to be really good. I figure it's all part of the great vape adventure.:)

I'm fortunate that I haven't bought any juice that I consider not-vapeable, just some that I like a lot more than others.

I mainly buy MBV Flavor Concentrates for DIY and I have to agree, alot of their juices do have a strange taste. I have found that Dutch Apple Pie is the BOMB. Adding a few more drops of flavor can make the difference between Good and Bad. Measure out the amount that is used so once you find the sweet spot in the amount of flavoring, you can making it consistantly in the future.

it might need steeping,,,,,

take the cover off and let it sit over night,,,,,,,,,put the cover back on and shake it,,,,,,,put it in a dark cabinet and shake it daily,,,,,

leave it there for a week and see if it tastes better,,,,if so,,,,,,,,vape away,,,,,if not,,,,,,,steep it another week,,,,,,,,

Ya ive been doing that for 3 weeks and still not much different :/

Ya i think your right, i also got sour yum and the 50/50 pg/vg reviews didnt seem to like it, but all the 20/80 pg/vg and 100% vg seem to love it, and i couldnt agree more. I guess its all about the mix and the flavor shots, must have gotten to high of a vg, maby ill just start DIY juices, thanks man.

MBV juices are made to order, and most, if not all, benefit from 4+ weeks of steeping. That said, there's some juices from there I really don't care for. When ppl say taste in juice is subjective, it's not a lie. Moreso than even food, I believe, what some live, others may hate.

Could be device settings aswell, if it's VV and or VW, try different settings. I've read that some juice tastes great at 8 watts, and some higher.

Edit: I guess if you tried .4 ohms, to 1.4 it's a mech mod? Suppose you could try a higher ohm coil than 1.4 to lower the watts.

Thanks, ill make a 1.8 ohm coil for 8 watts and give it a try.

If you've been steeping it with the cap off and still no results try this..

Leave the cap off while your steeping. Every day let out as much air as you can and let the bottle suck fresh air in.. then shake religiously and let it sit in the dark area of your choice, keep doing that for a few days to see if it changes a bit. Letting the fresh air in allows the juice to do some sort of dance with the fresh air and the religious shaking lets the air get around through the juice. Try that out and see if you notice anything different. Leaving the cap off releases all the funky stuff you don't like in the flavor.

I did that exact process for a week straight, then for the last 2 weeks ive had the cap on shaking it every couple days while squeezing the bottle 20 times to get fresh air for the flavor molecules to mature, because i heard that letting your juice air out to much can lose flavor, but ive got no choice so if the 1.8 ohm coil doesnt do it, im gunna have to do it.

Hi Jayyco, If I understand it correctly you bought the already made juice, you didn't DIY it. right?
and it has steeped for a while now?
This may sound crazy (and Mt baker juice comes in a 15ml bottle) try putting 3 drops (1 drop per 5ml) of lemon juice in the mix and shake well.
try vaping it again, if you don't taste the lemon and the vape improves then your good, if you cant taste the lemon and its still a bit bland add another drop.
this trick can sometimes perk up a mute juice. If it fails it was gonna go in the junk drawer anyway right. Ha Ha

BTW, hows the weather on your side of town today? wet over here in Glendale, Good lucj w/the juice and Regards man!
