Johnnie Walker or Bowmore 25?
Maxwell House or Fazenda Santa Ines?
Bottom round or Porterhouse?
Hersheys or Coppeneur?
Some have more developed palates for some flavors then others. I personally am not there yet with my e liquids but I admit I can taste the depth of flavors and the quality of the nic bases from some boutique mixers. In the meantime I'll enjoy a few of the fast food style liquids until my tastes change.

It is strange that almost everyone posting has SOME are in which they think their preference is superior.
It's PREFERENCE.

I know good coffee from crap coffee. And I don't care. I don't actually enjoy great coffee. For me, coffee is caffeine.
In vaping, on the other hand, I DO have real preference - and it's TASTE, completely subjective.
One of the first juices I got that I liked was from China, and cost $5.99 for 30 mls.
My FAVORITE liquid costs me $1.65 for 30 mls, because I make it.
And so far, every flavor from 5-Pawns makes me gag.
I like what I like. I often like things that are high quality and that have higher prices as a result. Sometimes they even have higher prices due to limited availability. But I don't often pay extra just because of a vendor's marketing, or because it's popular.

Anyway...
Finding juice you like is an adventure everyone needs to take.
Ask for recommendations based on your preferences - whether you prefer something cheap, or prefer something that's a complex blend, or you prefer a vendor good at fruits, or good at tobaccos - ask around, and try a bunch. Eventually you'll find what you like.
If you're lucky, it won't be $1/ml. LOL

Johnnie Walker or Bowmore 25? Neither. I stock Pinch, and have Balvenie for a treat. (Is Bowmore good? More peaty like Laphroaig or smooth like Macallan?)
Maxwell House or Fazenda Santa Ines? (Folgers, actually. I just need some caffeine. LOL)
Bottom round or Porterhouse?
Hersheys or Coppeneur? (I have a relative that LECTURES about chocolate, with samples. I like Scharffen Berger, but prefer simple Hersheys milk chocolate to most "fine chocolates")

I got "that taste" from every MBV juice I ever tried. I had to assume it was from the nicotine base since it permeated every flavor, no matter what flavor profile it was, from cinnamon roll to moo juice to lemonade. It was disgusting no matter how long I let it steep.

P.S. I hate coffee AND beer. Yuck!!!!

This thread is hilarious. Especially the "I tried a bit of MBV juice at a friends and didn't like it so therefore they're crappy and low quality" guy.

4 different juices and all tasted like chemicals and soap. That is enough for me to not spend any money with a company. Think what you will

Every time I go into the local B&M and try their juice bar samples there's the same undertaste in most all of them. Dekang doesn't seem to possess that kind of undertaste and it's why I enjoy Dekang juices. I also like some of the Madvapes juices like Tobacco and Mad 4. Right now, those are my favorites.

I suspect that offshore juices will eventually go away as the FDA implements testing with standards for ingredients.

I've never had any at all from MBV... but I have tried repeatedly to like Halo's juices, and failed, repeatedly. The only juice they make that actually tastes like what it's supposed to be is their peppermint, Kringle's Curse, and it's not great, just not horrible. None of their others is even tolerable... TO ME. I know they have a big following but I just can't get on that train, no matter how I try.

Oh, their Belgian Cocoa isn't TOO bad, but it's just not sweet enough -- it tastes like I'm huffing pure cocoa from the can, no sweetness at all.

And that is my own preference; I like milk chocolate better than dark chocolate for the same reason, I like *sweet*.
