I got my Kanger T3 today and I decided to give it try. I filled it up with the pina colada that tastes great in my vivi nova and it was horrible. It tasted like what I would imagine pinesol might taste. Definitely a chemical flavor coming through. I rinsed it out real good and put a different juice in and the same chemical flavor. I am disappointed and wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

I had it happen. Extremely dislike the Kanger T3, and T2. Not only muted flavors and cool vapor...but they both leak and gurgle like crazy, no matter how careful I am with them. I'll stick with my vivi-nova's and "old-school" dual-coil cartos. Lesson learned.

Well that sucks. It is good to know that it isn't just me though. I guess I will be sticking to with the vivi's.

Its either the wick or the type of plastic in the t3,try a cotton wick.

There are a few threads on ECF on this topic. The discussion ranges from knockoffs to airy vape to wicking to taste and on and on.
One of my posts in the other big thread was similar to yours. I had to see what all the hype was and was sure that I needed to try these....so I bought 6 true Kangers from a trusted vendor after looking for them online. They only had a few left so I bought the last of the yellows.
They are Garbage and make my quality juice tast like ...... spit. It is a plastic and chemical taste that is aweful. I cleaned them primed them and did everything right. I now have 3 unopened ones that will either be given way as gag gifts or blown up in a firey explosion along with the rest of the useless crap I have purchased.
Back to dripping and DCT tanks for good.

I just got some t3 stainless shell, they look pretty solid. Vape ok. It does mute flavor vs nova . What i hate is the vapor production on it. Probably due to the bottom coil design with tiny wick. I have to take 10 sec draws to get the satisfying hit.

I'd think that's more from the airy draw. Try covering one or two of the air vents on the bottom.

I dont believe what you are sayng. Maybe you just didnt "do" it right.
T2 just cant be "cool" because its a top coil and its so hot (with right wattage!) that i cant draw it very long :D maybe you are using e.g. 2.8ohm and 3.3v ? :D yes , t2 needs littlebit of "taking care" to prevent leaking/gurling but its so minimal

Otherwise - t3 (well actualy i got mt3 but its the same) is very leak and gurling-free. tho yes, its littlebit cool even on 4v and 1.8ohm but taste is good and vapor is HUGE

I bought two on pbusardo's recommendation. I was dissapointed. The first one was ok for the first day, then burny taste. The second had an airy draw, and no sooner did i obstruct two of the airholes with glue then it started tasting burny.

But he has made a few posts about kangergate. I might check out his second favorite choice instead. Maybe not as good as se kangers but hopefully more consistent.

Exactly, I wasn't quite sure how to describe the taste, but it was horrible. I wasted a tankful of great juice. The vapor production was fine, but that doesn't do me any good when it makes the juice taste like s--t...Have any of you had any luck getting a refund? Probably not worth it, I am glad I only bought 1, wait I also have 2 knew unopened heads for it also, damm

Typically no refunds will be given on such disposable items, especially after having them as long as you have. I just chalk it up to ....... , never again and make a big sticky note to self. Good luck in your quest and chasing the dragon for that perfect hit. Most of us wether we hate them or like them will also be chasing that illusive sneaky pos dragon like a crack addict for the perfect high. GL!

Mine have all been fine and taste great, maybe you got a bad batch.. flavor is a tad muted but I think all cartos are. Mine are working pretty good..

I wish everyone had my experience.

I got my first ecig, an Ego, with a clearo. But damn. was it awesome.

Then within 2 weeks (yes, I overvaped, but actually, I vape just as much now as I did back then) the clearo crapped out on me. It was a Stardust.

I bought another one, and the same cycle happened. Awesome vapes, then, bang, UNGH.

I was panicking and didn't know what to do, then one of my vaping mentors gave me an atty and I learned to drip. It was during this time I discovered what flavors I truly enjoy.

But dripping became very, very annoying.

I have to rabbit-trail here for a second. During this time, I was experimenting with variable voltage, low, standard, and high resistance ohms, cartos, atomizers, clearomizers, etc. I didn't have a Provari, I had a KGO VV (because I am poor!).

It was during this dripping period that my learning curve took a HUGE... well... curve. I bought a DCT tank and a Vision ViVi Nova. They arrived within a day apart. I couldn't figure out my DCT tank and threw it back into my "junk" box. I filled my ViVi Nova and was LOVING IT.

Yep. For about 48 hours. But by then I blew two heads. I'm not a high voltage vaper, I like things in the 3.8 ohm range, so I know I didn't overzap the thing. Turns out, well, simply, it was crap. Yes, people, in my opinion, the hallowed, almighty ViVi Nova is worthless, in my eyes. I know a lot of people get amazing mileage and performance out of them, but that was absolutely not the case for me, and I gave it more than several tries.

Then I rambled into my brand new B&M store, and they showed me how to properly fill my DCT carto tank. I bought several, took the old one I discarded out of the vape trash, and filled them up.

Holy freakin' moly.

I stopped dripping immediately. THIS was the vape I was looking for. THIS was the vape I found. And holy sheboigins, was it good.

The dct tank is next on my list of things to try, but right now my vaping budget is tapped. I went for the T3 because it looked easy to use. There are no shops around here where I can go to learn this stuff so I am stuck with online ordering and learning. I am happy with the vivi novas I just want to own a few more so I can have 4 or 5 filled at once. Thanks for the write up on the tanks.

Jeapa, hope all of this might help you.

As for clearos, easy does NOT equal good.

All clearos have "easy" nailed. But as for performance....

... They suck.

Just give it time. You'll see.

EDIT: If you don't believe me, check out the Clearomizer subforum. It's a whole bunch of "Kanger T3 problems", "clearomizer is flooding", "dry hits on my clearomizer", "why does my Kanger taste burnt?", etc.
