Okay...going out on a limb here. Are you vaping the same juice continually? I know I'm guilty of vaping too long on a particular juice and my taste buds end up getting bored with the flavor. And eventually, all I taste is cooked sweet juice...So I change flavors fairly often. Like I run 3-4 flavors in various mods all day long.

I've ruled that out.

I ran Hummingbird Nectar for a little, and it lost it's taste...returned every time I dripped, but not bottom-fed. I switched to some other KBV juice, dripped to sample and it tasted good, so I filled up a bottle and screwed it in. Flavor gone again if I bottom-fed it.

There is no reason for that unless you are over-juicing. The juice is in the atomizer, whether you drip it there and it runs down into the coil, or squonk it there, and it runs into the coil. Physically, the juice is in the same place. The only thing that could be varying is the amount.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well. I fired up a fresh 306 and have been strictly dripping and vaping myself into a delicious coma. That has been going fantastic.

If only there was another Reonaut around my area that could test it out for me, cause this is just too weird.

Try vaping it to where you would normally drip more and squonk instead. When you squonk, do it very gently...just a tiny tiny bit of juice should show up in the holes in the catch cup, then immediately release. This is very light and very quick. Then give a quick sharp pull without firing to get juice up into the atty. That should give you about the same amount of juice as if you dripped a few drops onto the atty.

No dice. I've tried it several times today. It's just flavorless unless I drip it. :/

The only other thing I can think of is if the juice that is in your bottle is different or not well mixed. Maybe try taking off the bottle, blowing out the tube, and filling the bottle about half way with the juice you are successfully dripping.

I cleaned out the feed tube earlier...and the juice in the bottle is the same as what I'm dripping.

And by the way, thanks for trying to help out.

My pleasure to try, I just wish I could help you figure it out. I'm puzzled at this point. How the juice gets to the heating element shouldn't make any difference.

Stupid question, but you would happen to be using a different voltage device when you drip are you?

I had this same experience when using my Reo Mini. The flavor seemed to diminish when I used the Reo vs. dripping on the same atty. To me, I would describe the flavor change (compared to direct dripping) to what the Ego-T does to flavor. Was there, but muted in a weird way.

I wanted to see if "squonking" was doing anything to the flavor, so I squonked, then took the atty off (LR Joye) and threw it on my GLV 5v and got much better flavor. I put it on an eGo battery and it seemed to be about the same flavor as the Reo.

Then I took an SR and LR Boge Cartomizer and used them both on the Reo. They both seemed to give better flavor than the previous LR atty on the Reo. I don't really like what a carto does to taste, but if you like cartos maybe give them a try?

Nope, I only use my Reo right now. I just tried it on my other 3.7v bottom feeder and it tasted the same. I don't have anything else to test it on though.

And I only have some dual coil cartos from Madvapes, and I already tried those. They just tasted like burning crap to me. I might try some Boge LR Cartos in the future if the 901's don't work out for me.

If only there was just a button I could press that would tell me what would work perfect for me. Someone get to work on that!

Thanks for the help! I feel kinda stupid trying everything BUT that. Oh, well though. At least it's better right now. :)
Nah...don't feel stupid...hopefully us veterans will remember this in the future. I'm feeling kinda silly for not thinking of that as well. Really happy that its better now. Keep us posted if things change. :)

LOL, we've done stupider things...

uh, calling Rob when the on/off switch is "off"...complaining about the vape, but not thinking to charge the battery...shorting one mod, then screwing the same atomizer into another...carrying batteries in a pocket with lots of loose change...measuring battery length with metal calipers...
