Hi all,

Well, I've had my 3 AA NIMH JuicyBox (close to Jaaxx's design) going for several weeks now. It delivers vapor equivalent to the stock 901 battery, fits the hand nicely and has the merit of delivering a whole day's vaping on a single charge. I'm wanting , though, to try a higher voltage. Has anyone built a 4 or 5 AA mod for the SLB 901? What is the vape like on such a beast?

I am also considering trying a 7 AA model; using 4 AA's in series + 3 AA's in series, then connecting them in parallel for a nominal voltage of 4.2. It'd be double thick (using two 4 AA boxes), but would probably only need charging two or three times a week or so. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the heads up on the differential voltage issue - I had forgotten about that. It's a damn shame about that, as it would make fine tuning the voltage easy without fancy hardware. I hear what you're saying about 5 volt goodness. I think I'll try 4.8; that's pretty close and should get me some more intense vape.
