Jules, what did i tell u about even MENTIONING BBB before you said everything was as it was going to be and it's back to business as usual?!?!?!? it looks like i'm not alone here in thinking u shouldn't give stuff like that a second thought until u'r as sorted as can be again. so stop it already, as for that accusation stuff - they're not PIF members anymore because they probably never really were in spirit anyway, so don't worry about them. WE, your CURRENT members of PIF are telling u to NOT worry about it and take care of u and u'rs first. now for a little tough love i guess: if i see one more time you apologizing about stupid juice before you say everything is back to as good as it's going to get and u'r getting back to business as usual, then u can cancel any you plan to send me. i think WE ALL care about u deeply and the last thing ANY of us would want is for you to worry about something as trivial as juice when u'r going through a crisis, and i care about u enough that i'll be DAMNED if i'll b any part of that. so take care of u and u'rs first. when u say things are back to as good as they're going to get THEN worry about the trivial things.

that said, remember my PM i meant it when i said to not hesitate if there's ANYTHING i could do to help u in any way - and by anything i meant anything in my physical human power, insight, or realm of influence or whatever - nothing too big, nothing too small, i consider you a good friend, and i look out for my friends.

Am I allowed to say that that adapter thingee I ordered for you is here and I'll get it mailed when I can?

Jules shut the internet down, get some rest, and focus on the important things right now. Much as everyone likes the juice I don't see one person reaching for a ciggy cause they don't have it. It's not a need, it's a want. The members here all appreciate and respect you. You're in my thoughts and prayers, and those aren't just words. Same goes for your Hubby, stay positive! boB

Jules... Girl...I am praying for ur husband and u hunny.. I still have some of the BBB it is i think 22mg or close to that.. I have enough to probably send out 3 or 4 3ml samples.. if that would help you in any way.. although i am sure no one is so worried about it.. that u should even be thinking of worrying about it... But I would send it out to anyone that u said u owe it to so it can help ease ur mind in any way.. just pm with their addys, and i will get them right out for u sweetie.. U need not worry of such trivial things... no one NEEDS the BBB... and should never feel that should be more important than easing ur mind or being there for ur husband,, I will step up and do anything i can to help u out! please just let me know what if you want me to do this... i would be more than glad to doll!!! U worry about u and ur's GF..
Much love and prayers~Missy

u'r allowed to say it's there, and u'll worry about mailing it when there's not actual important things going on :) u'll figure out how much we're all pulling for u - we won't give u the option not to...lol take care of u and u'rs and keep us posted (WITHOUT APOLOGIZING FOR ANYTHING!!!!!) and keep in mind our offers to help if u need them - i'm sure that not 1 of them was offered lightly so don't forget them.

You all are wonderful. Thanks so much for puling together the way you have. I promise to stop worrying about the BBB and I won't worry about it until I get things settled here. PIF and all the members here are actually a great comfort to me. You all let me see that there is still hope for humanity. Ok, going to listen to Missy and be oh BE and shut the internet off for the night and get some sleep. We'll just see what tomorrow brings and deal with things one at a time. Thank you all for being here.

Biggest hugs there could ever be,

Jules

my gods woman I just caught this thread....definitely best wishes to you and the hubby...

I know the cancer scare first hand... it's definitely a shock to the system...
if that is what it is...the key is to make sure his oncologist is the best possible...and is fast moving and accepting of new treatments and alternatives...it's definitely something you want to get ahead of and not be waiting around on...
for example it's debated but in some contries and some states ozone therapy is being used with a decent amount of success to help along traditional treatments (but not a stand alone alternative)

it's beatable....just depends on attitude and support stuctures and medical teams...

I want to once again thank everyone for all the well wishes and the prayers. Terry is home and actually doing pretty good. It is taking some getting used to having a long tube following you around all the time but he is doing well with it. I only had to get onto him once for not having it on and that is miraculous because I've been griping about his Cpap machine for months and he still doesn't use it,lol He goes in Tuesday for a biopsy of his liver and his lungs. I am inclined to think the liver thing is scar tissue from the Hep C he got when he was injured in Vietnam and before they tested blood for diseases like they do now. Keep your fingers crossed that the lungs are just scarring from a bad case of pneumonia he had back in 2003 that he had to have surgery for. I'm not holding much hope on that though because it would have showed up on other chest xrays.

He is doing this thru the VA right now. The VA here treats cancer patients aggressively. They don't just let them sit there and die. If it seems like they are doing that, he has other insurance and I will get him transferred to some place that will be aggressive. I am not ready to give him up and he says/acts like he's not ready to leave yet.

We got our first package of tobacco juices today from someone that was more than generous but wishes to remain annon. He sent a wide variety. So far, Terry is really liking the Maxboro and he likes the TW Absinthe which surprised me. He is using cartos so he doesn't have to do anything but screw the carto off and put another one on. I will do all the hard work, lol But I have always found playing mad scientist and taking care of my ecig equipment relaxing, so it all works out.

Again, thank you to everyone!!! It's nap time for me.

Jules... glad to hear all is well for now at least.. I know u enjoy doin ur PIF duties to keep ur mind occupied, but my offer still stands on sending out the BBB That we have.. and my prayers are w/ u guys! Hang in there GF... And tell Terry we are proud of him for trying to vape.. and to keep up the good work!!
Hugs & Love ♥ Missy

Jules, there's a great VA hospital here in Michigan, on U of M grounds which is great with cancer patients. I just wanted to throw that thought out there.

I'm glad you're hubby is listening to you. I hope he keeps vaping!

Hugs,
C

Thanks for the head's up on that. I lookedi t up and have a friend that lives close enough and would let us stay with him if needed.

Update:

Terry, aka hubby, is actually doing pretty good. He is alternating cigs with vaping. One time he will smoke, the next time he will vape. Big improvement from what he did smoke. So far he seems to like the Virginia the best. He is getting up and doing a little more than he used to which is great. I love to see him interested in working on his Harley again. I was getting really worried when he wouldn't/couldn't do that. It told me there was something going on. He goes in Tuesday for the lung and liver biopsies so keep your fingers crossed. I think my hip has gotten over being in that recliner all weekend finally, lol You'd think they could make it a little easier on family that is staying, especially disabled ones. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be doing it again and I'll just take the big pills with me this time, lol

Thanks to everyone for all the thoughts, prayers and healing hands. They are all appreciated!

The grand dog will be going back home tomorrow. He is one of the reasons I haven't really played mad scientist like I should be doing. He likes the juice too much and loves to chew on bottles. My 2 dogs and 2 cats all know that when I get that stuff out they stay off my bed. Chance isn't that smart, lol He still has too much puppy in him and thinks everything is his chew toy. So, within the next few days I should have all the mixing and bottling taken care of and start getting the shipments out.

Would someone please PM me and give me detailed directions on how to use Paypal shipping labels?

On my internet status, I once again had to call them Sunday night about it not working. Talked to a guy for quite awhile, he actually put in some pretty detailed notes on their computer, he told me he scheduled an appt for Monday for between 1-3pm. 3pm hits and no one has showed up so I called them again. They didn't have anything on a service call for us for Monday. I was not happy is an understatement. They set up another service call for between 8-10am for today. For anyone that really knows me, that is way before I am ready to wake up but I took what they offered. He gets here, works for a few minutes inside, says he has to go outside to check something then I don't see him again. A couple hours later the internet is off again. I call and tell them I want to talk to a supervisor in customer service. They put me thru to a really nice lady. I was calm, didn't yell or cuss (already had that out of my system, lol) I told her that if they didn't get someone out here today, that would actually fix my internet I was prepared to go with At&T DSL and I would also cancel my cable and go with Dish network or whatever the other one was. She says " DSL is a lot slower than our internet" My response was, "Does it matter how fast your internet is when it doesn't even work?" She was dumbfounded by the reply. She sent out 16, yes 16, it is not a typo, linemen to go up every poll in our grid and fix anything that was even the slightest bit off. As of right now, it is working better than it ever has. The supervisor of the linemen came to the door and checked each computer and the line that went to each one and checked the laptop which is wireless and found that everything was fine.

Now I ask, why has it taken them 3 months to finally do this? I won't have a cable/internet bill for two months with all the credits they have given me. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to send out those 16 linemen after the first couple of weeks on this? Let's see how this week goes. I may not have to switch IP now. That would really save me some headache.

There's a nice guide here with pictures: A Tutorial on How to Use Paypal MultiOrder Shipping Efficiently to Save Time and Money on Postage | Auctioncope Auction Blog

You will need to disable pop-ups from PayPal and it shows you how to do that in Firefox but not other browsers. The Multi-order Shipping link is on the right side after you login now, not on the left side. The best part is that you can save shipping settings under names of your choice if you make a lot of the same size/class/weight shipments.

To all the people that I have promised BBB to:

I have it made and in envelopes with addresses. I won't be able to mail them until I get my check on the 21st. Hubby gets his check on the 3rd and for some reason mine comes in on the third Wednesday of the month. Go figure. My son's car needs an alternator and keeping him able to drive to work is more important then mailing out 25 envelopes of BBB.

The 3 PIFs I have will go out tomorrow as will Lorizgal's package. Sorry for delays. I am trying to play catch up as fast as I can it just isn't fast enough to suit me.

Jules, so sorry to hear about what you've been going thru. Like everyone else here has said, put hubby & you first. It's good to go on with certain things to keep your mind occupied, but try to keep the worries at minimum. Time to prioritize! I'm one of those perfectionist people who've tried to keep everything organized & on time for many years. As I've gotten older however, and life has grown more challenging, I am slowly learning to "not sweat the small stuff". If there is any encouragement in this, I will let you know my Mom is a 2 time breast cancer survivor as well as a congestive heart failure survivor. She is almost 76 & is one of the most active people I know. I am 30 years her junior, and she makes me look/feel incredibly lazy! :) Keep the faith!! Bright Blessings, ***Alison*** (aka Drevly)
