First post, and must say thank you to this board for the wealth of information it, and its users have provided...THANK YOU!! After 20+ years of analog, I've finally made the move to "digital".. I think, like many who have made the switch, I started (after much tedious research)with a variety of the starter packs offered everywhere...Smoketip to V2, the latter still being used, and today made the jump into the "MOD" world. The Provari seemed like a logical choice for me, but the price point didn't sit well with the variety of other solutions out there...So I made the plunge into the realm of the VAMO V2. With all the "bells and whistles", (VAMO V2, Kanger Pro tank, Replacement parts(atomizer heads X5), 2-18650 batteries, charger, and juice, I ended this venture at a little over $100. With the help of coupons and MyVaporStore, ExhaleVapors, Amazon, and of course ECF, it came together.. In time we'll see how it all works out, but from the plethora of information I found here, I'm feeling good with the purchase(s)...Thank you again!

YAY! Welcome and nice choices. I use the Vamo + Kanger Protank myself and love it.

I still need to grab a pair of 18650 batteries. When I ordered my vamo I had a blond moment and ordered the shorter batteries by mistake. Good news they do work and work well should you ever want to run your vamo in shorty mode.

i just got a vamo as well after months of using egos. i love this thing. with a protank or a vivi nova or a mt3 or a dripping atty or a carto. ive put everything i have on the vamo and it all delivers perfectly. in all 3 battery configurations. such a great mod for the price. i have found that i use more juice with it but thats just because i like hitting it so much.
people at work kind of laugh at it when i bring it out. even the few guys i have helped make the switch from analogs, although i suspect that they secretly want one for themselves.

Myrany- Thanks for the vote of support...I figure I'll order the shorter batteries in a short amount of time....One of the other aspects of the Vamo I liked, the ability to shorten it...Went with the "bigguns" for now, hoping that the battery will offer a more "sustained" drag.

DWolf- Love the bike, hobbies..this one could get expensive...lol

Phishdaddy- You reminded me of the choices and decisions in this process, which seemed to take FOREVER lol...I was sliding towards the Vivi Nova's but as you know, went with the Kanger Pro..

Thanks for the responses/welcomes!

i think i like the protank best. bottom coil, glass tank, comfortable, but unfortunately unchangeable mouthpiece. it took me a while to get there but its probably going to be my daily driver for a while. i do want to try carto tanks to see if ive been missing anything and maybe RBAs at some point. for now though the vamo with the protank is the best vape ive had. ill probably wind up divorced if i make any big vape purchases in the near future so its a good thing im happy with my current set up.

here she is, all dressed up in an orange carbon fiber diy wrap. found the template on here. it remedies my only issue with the vamo so far, the fingerprints.

I like the wrap as well! But you did bring up a good point that "haunted" me while deciding and purchasing, the stainless steel....I've read numerous posts here and there stating ss is fine, the black chrome isn't that bad etc..but brought back memories of one of the absolute worst purchases of my life. That being a stainless steel computer case...It looked beautiful, but OMG did it collect the fingerprints...Having two daughters who thought it was a great mirror with lights didn't help either...but you get the point..needless to say, I bookmarked the thread here with the wrap template before purchase lol...just in case......
