I have the: Equus 3300 Hands-free Digital Multimeter, and when I both check the MMs probes resistance and atomizer resistance the readings tend to jump all over and take a while to settle...and then vary from reading to reading, I use the 200ohms setting.

Sometimes it reads .2 or .3 for the probe resistance and if I move even slightly but contact remains the readings for both still jump all over creation for any reading.

What part are you probing to?.
It's hard to keep good contact on small wires with probes that's why many use those readers you screw into . If you can set up a more solid testing contact it would help. Or your batteries could be getting low!

Actually when I get really erratic readings the prob wires are usually breaking at the ends. Check the wires closely, they like to break when bent too much.
