I was just in our court house last week. I put mine (78s) in the part of my purse that also houses pens (massive purse - very cluttered) and just sent it through the scanner thing while asking if they wanted my glasses, scarf, shoes and underwire bra to go through also.
tends to distract men if you mention a bra

Well I just picked up a couple of 78's taking advantage of the St. Patrick's day sale. Now I'll have a couple of cig-a-likes to carry with me when I report for jury duty.
