So I have one of those Noob questions and you can all point and laugh at me in a few minutes, I don't mind.

I have saved all of my old carts for the two different models that I have, I put the cart condom back on them and let them sit. Now that I have some DIY liquid I wanted to try out I broke out all those old dry carts, and I found something rather interesting... most of them look almost full again, like they had never really been empty in the first place, but they sure looked it when I stoped vaping on them. Does the juice in fact get trapped in the upper part of the carts and take a while to drain?

I noticed the same thing. The liquid gets trapped at the mouth end of the cart, when you put it away, all the juice comes to the side, or bottom at the atty end. It's a nice way to use up the old liquid! Just pay attention to the filling and don't use it if there are dark spots. (darker then the liquid that is)

Thanks for the tip. I also ended up scurrying off to my local hobby shop and picking up some bubble gum flavoring and cotton candy and some polyfill. I am assuming that is the polycotton filling that everyone is talking about. Am I about right on that one? If it isn't I make pillows so I am not actually out any money LOL.

Makes me wonder...

Just about every cart I've ever used, when topping off, takes less than half of what it took to fill it up to begin with. This, coupled with the fact that I sqeeze so much out when cleaning the filler, makes me pretty sure that the 'back end' is too far away from the coil to do any good.

Why don't they shorten the 'storage' area of the carts so that we don't waste precious juice? Of course... it would hurt the old 'so many packs per cart' advertising claim.

I have a 510 and super-mini (N4081?). The super-mini is less than 1/2 the size of the 510 cart filler. I was thinking that was a bad thing but I have to top the 510 off just as much as the 4081. But, that vapor is nothing like that of the 510. I can't have it all I guess. :)
