Be proud of the decision you're making! Theres nothing wrong with being healthier and there is certainly nothing to hide about it. Provide answers for the curiousity so that people can better understand whats going on and then be content in knowing that what you're doing isn't killing you.

I tried approaching one woman who was leaving a restaurant and digging in her purse to get her cigarettes but she just got freaked out by me trying to show her the ecigs. The only time I get good conversations is when I go hang out with a lone smoker at an event.

If you vape openly and just about everywhere and in a respectfully manner, most of us have found we get many people interested and in a positive way. I have much more positive feedback and interest when I don't hang out with smokers which I don't do anymore since I don't smoke. That has been my experience and from quite a few who have posted on the topic in various vaping forums.

I have 'enlightened' a few people myself...I had a friend over here yesterday who smokes, and I showed her the passthrough I have and let her try it, she likes it ALOT because it's pretty cheap and she sits at the computer and smokes alot. Another time I was at a Dollar General store, and was talking to the friend I was with something about the ecig and the cashier overheard me and started asking questions, so I spent some time with her. I think you don't push anyone, but when they ask questions answer them.

There are 3 people that I know who complained about wanting to quit cigs. I gave all of them this sites address, tons of advice and information on e-cigs including setting one of them up wih a Riva kit and assorted juices. None of them wanted to vape to quit cigs. Now I almost feel it's useless to try to help anyone concerning this. One of them saw my silver bullet and said, "OH, I wouldn't want anyone to see me with something like that and even though I told her there were many other PV's that looked like real cigs she wanted nothing to do with it. Now I try not to let anyone see me with my mods. The silver bullet DID look like a pipe bomb (ha ha) so I sold it. I'm getting a pretty colored mod and hopefully someonne will see me with that and ask about vaping. I'm always ready to help those who truly want to get away from analogs. I also have a pretty cool bottom feeder box mod coming. They are on sale at Oldgoats for $25. That's an incredible price for a bottom feeder so anyone who's interested, just PM me and I'll give you the info.
