Few weeks analog free and girlfriend said, "I don't like.. You smell of heavy strawberry."

I asked her if she not like my vaping habits, she said no but rather I vape than smoke analogs. Tried not bringing the PV along to stop blowing any sort of clouds and this is what happened.

Anyway, it took me a while to vape when I'm out with my gf. The idea is to introduce vaping slowly with links once in a while. Don't whip out that mod whenever you can. Get into small talks about what you heard or know about vaping. Make sure she's a little comfortable about vaping first. Like foreplay bro foreplay.

The first time I whip out my mod she said, not bad.. nice..

It's psychological. The smell of the vapour should dissipate from your clothes within minutes. Mayhap, she's more into "manly" fragrances? Try some Arabic tobacco.

At first I was doing nothing but tobacco flavors; props to you for already branching out!
Suicide Bunnys mother milk is kind of a strawberries and cream; Bot only is it awesome! But the scent is fairly benign I think. And if you're looking for some flavorful juices with a less obvious sent you might wanna try ahlusion; from what have been told the smell from these seems to not stick around as much. Or maybe even try a some of the vanillas and custard types at lest when she's around you know.

It isn't the flavor but just vaping that she doesn't like. She thinks it'll affect my health but I guess that's normal. PVs aren't fully proven to be 100% safe but I myself believe it is 99.9% better than ciggies. I love the flavorful taste in my mouth but idk is it psychological that made her say the berry smells like ciggies.

The analogs tasted like crap but it'll substain me till I get my PV after work today. those thing sticks to my tongue for hours...

Ohhhh gotcha if you show her casaa website they have a few articles and studies showing the difference. In my opinion and fear That view is going to become more common among the general population as baling gets more common- it's the human fear of the unkown. Couple that human fear with the media bashing us as often as they can because of the financial blow that BIg tobacco and big pharma are taking because of the popularity of vaping my biggest fear is that the publicly accepted opinion of vaping will become the publicly accepted truth of vaping. It's that whole adage of the winner rights the history books. Not saying they own but for now they are. I wrote an entire diatribe on that in the forum a few seals back and took a backlash for It.

Unfortunately you gotta do what's best for you and she's gonna eventually support you with it as she learns more about it from a factual and provable standpoint. But; you may have to be the one to teach her. Been there done that with my fiancé a few months back- bow she's a vapor- lol

You'll know best how to handle the information sharing with her. I'm lucky when it comes to that's girl wants to know as much as she can when it comes to something that interests me and she started doing re research on her own when she realized I was surgically attached to my PV so all I had to do was share more info and take her to a b&m and let her talk to other people, we left with her starter kit- lol

Yeah I can see your quandary.
Best of luck with her though. I'm sure when the "newness" wears off and she realizes you're not going back to analogs or taking pills, chewing gum, patches and the rest she'll be ok.

It's important to consider things from the perspective of someone who's both a non-vaper and non-smoker (i.e., your SO; smokers will obviously not mind vapour clouds). They're used to regular, unscented air and nothing else.

I had the same issue as you, but I can see my vaping slowly gaining acceptance now that I refrain from doing it in the car, and when we're walking together, etc. Basically whenever it can get in her face.

Most human interactions involve compromise, but when you've got a good relationship going, both parties will get something better out of that compromise
