Just brought 3 attys back from the dead!!!!!

So.... I had 2 1.5ohm attys die on me after 3-4 days each, originally I thought it was just because they were the LR Bridgeless but when I was testing them before throwing them out. I noticed that the center pin on the 901 Atty had been pushed in flush and the O-Ring had been flattened. I tested with the pin pushed all the way in and got no resistance, well "0.3". I then took a paperclip and pushed the inside of the atty down towards the base, pushing the pin back out and reset the O-Ring(which is pretty stretched out now) I tested and got 1.5ohm. I mounted it on my battery and it works.

I have a Puresmoker Protege 901 and have noticed that the center pin on the battery connection sits flush with the threads. I guess I've been over-tightening a little bit. Hope this is helpful if anyone is having the same issues.

I'm going to make a run to the hardware store and get some new O-Rings and replace them, I cant screw it down all the way and the atty is wobbly and slowly works it's way down and stops working again.

Food grade or industrial?

I'm going to see if they have food grade, industrial, getting hot, chemicals, seems bad. I just wish I would have noticed this before I placed a large order for more supplies.

I'm running 3.7v and I will say for some flavors and for thicker juice it does scorch some, I'm using a empire drip shield on the 901, all around I like the 1.5 but I did just order two 1.7's to give them a try.
