28 gauge, 2.5mm, about 9 wraps coming out at 1.05 ohms. I put it in an APO rda That wasn't being used and fired it up on the Hana DNA40 at 20 watts. Nice long draw, dense and flavorful. Using a DIY strawberries and cream at about 75vg/25pgat 6mg. Lit me up like the Christmas tree. Me Like!

Twisted the wire with a Whip FInisher from the fishing tackel box...works great.

How did you like that whip finisher, I'm still playing but my best flavor came out of a twisted 28 gage/ single 1.0 ohm at 20W on my new Istick on an Atomic.

That's exactly how I set my coil up. worked great.

I like the whip finisher. Easily twist wires anywhere. no need for power tools.

I'm there with you! I built my first three twisted coils and am loving it!
One single 28 ga 6 wraps for my Magma clone, and a dual 28 ga 7 wrap for my Plume Veil clone.

I'm thinking of trying out a single parallel for the Magma to see how different it is from twisted.
Have you done parallels? How do you feel they compare?

you got me wondering, twisted and parallel coils perform nicely. the only downfall I have found with the few triple twisted 30g coil I have built is that they muck up really bad and are hard to clean fully. may make dual triple twisted 28g to put in my orchid to compare to the dual triple parallel 28g I got in my kraken

Made a triple twisted single coil 28 ga Kanthal for my Plume Veil clone last night. Wow, the flavor difference between a double twisted and a triple twisted coil is more than I imagined it would be!
I did seven wraps on a 5/64 drill bit (2 mm), and it came out to 0.54 ohms.

Someday, I might actually invest in some crazy builds, like Mundy, Tiger, or Clapton, since people tend to say those are more flavorful than twisted.
