I was a light and ultralights smoker so my current opinion of the best is probably very different from yours. The best I've tried so far is a standard 901 atty (I use it on a shorty KR8 battery which should be about the same as a 901 battery). You don't have to work for your vapor on this one. Not a big TH since it's a bit airy but lots of vapor with little effort, nice flavor, doesn't run hot, doesn't burn its carts. As very well behaved and tasty atty. I find it very relaxing.

oka so i am leaning towards the mod is there any 3.7 v device that u all feel is the best and a decent price ???? that i should try everyone on this thread has said something about a mod but to be honest im a little confused on this whole mod thing if someone could explaine to me what is the diff about a mod.

Here is one of the better sites for a summary of many mods: http://www.ecigarette-mods.com/

Note: many vets who have tried many different PV's use either 5 volt PV's or Variable Volt PV's. Reasons:

1. Does the best job of simulating the "inhaled feel" of an analog
2. Very good battery life
3. Longevity of battery (2000 recharges vs 200 recharges - stock batteries)
4. Batteries that cost $3 each instead of $10 - $15 each
5. No one thinks you are still smoking or looking like someone who is pretending they are still smoking.
6. Batteries are not proprietary - can get them at many places that have nothing to do with PV's.
7. Consistency of each inhale.

The future of vaping is definitely moving towards variable voltage devices. It allows the most flexiblity and consistency. If I was going to recommend a good 5 volt model it would be the GLV2: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor. The VV model that is generating much buzz is the Darwin: Evolv, LLC.

Good Luck

The only "store-bought" mod I've got is the Indulgence. I recommend it because it's got a 3.7v or a 6v option (you need a HV atomizer for 6v). It ROCKS with a LR atty or carto (I prefer cartos). Batteries are cheap. Good looking. The thing that really sold me on it, though, is that it's so sturdily built... and the battery section comes in 3 parts: Battery cup, switch section, and threading section. There are two battery cups, the larger of which will take 2x3v batteries for 6v vaping, or one MASSIVE 3.7v battery that even I can't kill in a day and a half of chaining on it. The switch section is rock-solid (I got it after breaking a flimsy ego switch), and can be purchased separately. Best of all is the threading section: the threading adapter pops out, and the basic model comes with 4 threading adapters for the 510, 801, 901, and M4xxx model types. I'm a 510 guy, but if I see a massive sale on KR808 cartos, guess what? The Indulgence can use them with a 15-second swap out of the threadings. Stuck out of town and unprepared? It doesn't matter what refill stuff they're selling at that mall kiosk or truck stop... 95% chance the threading is one of the 4 major types.

The only downfall is that it's really big. With the extended battery cup option, it's been called a "Steampunk Dildo"... I actually had a date remark that her vibrator wasn't that big.... but if that's not a problem, it's a really good unit.

You might find yours cheaper elsewhere, but here's where I got mine, and I had a very good experience with this vendor:

Indulgence Kit - Titanium
