It's probably been brought up before but I've been wondering this since I first started researching E cigs a while back. How comes when you do a search for say E cig reviews or buy E cigs online does it bring you to pages like this?

E Cigarette Reviews

Honestly, this is what too me a long time before buying one online and perhaps I'm almost wondering if this is what keeps so many would be ex smokers still smoking. Look at the prices, all are cig. look alike PV's. Is there some sort of conspiracy to make PVs seem so much more expensive than they really are? The whole first page of googled results are links like the one shown here. The ECF isn't listed till halfway down second page of results.

I'll be honest, I myself am not really sure what kind of answer I'm looking for. Maybe I'm just wondering how companies like green cig, or blu fit in with the true vaping community. Not once when someone asks what should I buy has someone said buy a green smoke or get a Njoy. This is what made the journey more costly and confusing for me to where I am now. I just don't get when you google buy e cigs online these are what pops up first.

If I would have known I could have started out with a decent PV or 40 bucks or less yes i would have instead of picking up the cheap gas station one for same price. Even if it didn't look like an analog. But instead I went with the cheap one and was not happy at all, almost gave up on them till I stumbled upon these forums. Maybe my question lies more with how results come up on browsers, I dunno. I didn't realize companies can actually pay to have their sites be first on results. I thought it went by the wording and most fitting to what was searched for.

I started with a Blu kit for this reason. They were just the first ecigs I was exposed to online. This was almost two years ago when there was even less information and quality equipment available. If I had taken more time to research (and made it here to ECF) I would have made a much better purchase. That being said, the Blus helped me quit smoking and they were fun to use. I would HATE to be stuck with them today, but that's progress.

I agree with Duke. These vendors sell a low quality kit for 70-100 dollars. Their profit margin is huge so they can afford to pay for sponsored links and high ad rates. Thank God for ECF.

I'm glad you found ECF so soon. I hope you are enjoying high-quality vaping at fair prices! Welcome to the forums...
