I just pulled out my 3 week old bottle mixed @ 8%. No chemical taste. I just started dripping it and just like everyone has already said, this one is a winner. I think I want a little more tobacco flavor in it. Might go with 1-2% of HS RY1 or something like that and see what that does. Can't imagine it being bad. I'll wait another couple weeks before making that call.

I'm really enjoying this flavor quite a bit. I don't get much tobacco but that's ok because it's very unique and tasty in its own way. I started thinking about what might go good with it and am leaning towards it just being left alone. It's one of those flavors that is hard to put a finger on exactly what I'm tasting other than it tastes really good. I love those.

Has anybody mixed a recipe using other flavors with BHT? A hint of graham cracker is about the only thing I can think of that might be worth a shot.

There is a few I left on this thread..

here is another:

Sweet Apple Honey

5% Apple
8% Black Honey Tobacco
2% Butter Rum
1-2% Graham Cracker

Hope you might like it.. it's pretty good steeped around 3 weeks

the reason I went so low on apple.. is I didn't want a sharp crisp taste.. I want sweet and lickable.. ;) could add a tiny toothpick drop of cinnamon, if you want.

This was my second successful mix for me. I let it steep for 5 days tested it out and I was surprised that it had a great flavor. Got the tobacco upfront with the coconut ending with the smoothness of the Kentucky bourbon and the honey sits right at the tip of my tongue at the end.
All TFA
6% Black Honey Tobacco
6% Coconut Extract
2% Kentucky Bourbon
2% Smooth

Just mixed up two 15ml bottles (all TFA).

Bottle one is BHT at 7%

Bottle two is BHT at 7% and Honey at 1%

Added a third 15ml bottle (TFA as well)

Bottle three is BHT at 7% and White Chocolate at 10%

All are 100% PG mixes 6mg/ml.

Each is marked to use no earlier than 8/7/14, that should be enough time to let the flavors finish doing their thing.

I worry about that second mixture as I have yet to get a good juice out of that honey flavor. Maybe the long steep will do the trick.

Bottle three is as much a test to see if that recipe will taste good and give me something to mix with the second bottle should it turn out not quite as nice as I had hoped.

These are my first 100% PG mixes, for the most part I've done 50:50 or 70:30 in the case of a mix I do for a friend.

Love this one.

Any of you notice how the tate changes as you play with the volts / watts.

Im going to buy this stuff in bulk.

Alone I didnt much care for it. But mix it with some of my DIY NETs and it just blew my mind.
Right now I have added some Tobacco Absolute Bulgarian.

This is in an effort to keep my wick clean and get a stronger tobacco taste.
Im 100% sure its going to mix well with all my Hangsen Flavors Ive ordered.
RY1 / Desert Ship / Indian Tobacco.

This is my all day vape. Keep mixing it up with stuff to see what works.
Tried it with Flue Cured / Fire Cured / NET / RY1 / RY Asian / RY Double. Very hard to get a bad mix. It mixes so well with everything.
Not tried mixing it with fruit.

Needs a long steep.
Im mixing at 10%

Here's my attempt at Black Honey
12mg nic
9% Black Honey
4% Vanilla
50-50 vg-pg

I'll let it sit for a few days and try it out

thanks for all the good info

Dave

If you taste a chemical perfume taste you'll need to give it more steeping time. I found 4 - 5 weeks was needed. Did you taste it right after mixing. If not you should so you have a baseline to compare the progress of the maturing process.
