Maybe I missed it but is AVC apple cider vinegar?

You got it! It's cheaper than MTS vape Wizard and works about the same, prevents flavor fade and helps soften some of the sharp edges.

By the way Danny, if I haven't said this yet, thank you so much for starting this thread! I've been following your footsteps the whole way, you know. . .

No specific recipe but I just whipped up a small batch of juice with TFA's black honey, M type, brown sugar, and a skosh of vanilla bourbon and EM (more for the slight nutty/creaminess than actual sweetening). The ACV seems to brighten up the flavors and counteract the sweetness a bit without dulling the nuances of the individual flavors. It was decent after a few days but another week or two of steeping won't hurt.

What's the recipe for this fabulous vape? Anything that includes that difficult MType I'm interested in trying.

Thanks for the advice it makes a lot of sense. If you do this mix let us know how it turns out. I've been wanting to try the rum and bourbon with the BHT. Maybe your right and a smooth or vape wizard needs to be added. I think the AP @ 5% is a bit high though unless your looking to add a pronounced nutty flavor but I think that amount may take it to the corn chip tasting side. Also the light nutural tobacco such as a FA MAXX may also be needed. Not sure about the EM but may be worth a try. Certainly though you have provided some nice suggestions.

I actually forgot on this post too, Danny :p

it was super good after 4 weeks and I ended up vaping the entire thing.. have been hunting for this post, as I cant find the recipe in all my 10million files.. go figure..
Thanks bunches and yes!! Do this one.. ;) I used the brandy last time, this next time, I have cognac tobacco, and plan on mixing it into the mix.. once I get it right for me, will gladly pop up the recipe.. :)

It's great flavor. I only used 1% straight. Little weak but still good. Only problem I have is that it leaves this astringent taste in my mouth. Steeped it for a week I figured it should have settled but it didn't. Tried 4% but was worse tho taste was even better. Can't figure out why that astringent after taste. Tried adding other flavors but still there.

If your talking about the BHT. The off taste is the lack of steeping. It needs a good 5 weeks of natural steeping. I thought the same thing a week and even 3 weeks after mixing it. then went back after 5 weeks and it was a totally different wonderful vape. I found artifical steeping in a UC or hot water will not work for this flavor. I've tried.

I've only tried heat steeping, and I'm with you, didn't help. It was passable at 4 weeks steep, but really good after 8 weeks. I'm now planning on setting up a 2 week mixing cycle of BHT, so in 8 weeks time, I'll never in out.

Look for my post a page or 2 back about seed steeping. That will save you some time.

Ok I been watching this from the beginning and I no I'm a noob but I mixed my first TFA/BHT about a week ago. Now I'm beginning to think I must be crazy or something. Why? you asked. Because I made 20ML 16MG at are you ready for this --- 14% and I love. Tell me I'm not crazy. (Maybe)??

Your not crazy. Taste is very subjective.

Well 40 yrs. plus of the stinkies it doesn't surprise me. Maybe when my taste buds rejuvenate some it may be a whole different story.

It will be. I started with a tobacco flavor, and vaped it exclusively for the first couple weeks. Now, I can't stand that flavor from that vendor. I haven't had it for about 5 months now.

Your sense of flavor and your tastes will change in a few weeks.

Thanks for your input Dannyv45. Have you used your ultrasonic cleaner during this approx 5 wk steeping period? I already like this Black Honey Tobacco flavor and am using it in a pipe tobacco plus recipe. I'll be ordering a steeper over the weekend off Amazon with 1-30 min timing ability. Willing to naturally steep and wait as I make a 60 ml mix this coming weekend but 5 wk steeping period peaked my interest.

My first batch of TFA Black Honey Tobacco was at 6% or 8% and to me was good but a bit weak. Last batch 7-24-13 was at 10% and is just right for me. It was fair after one day with open top and then several days sealed being shaken several times a day. It has goten better with age and I do not plan on making any changes other than perhaps larger batches.

I am also using this blend with 1.5% TFA Cherry added and will most likely also try it with a bit of vanilla added .

I did like 5 hours in the UC and it made little difference. It had to steep naturally for 5 weeks. It's the only flavor I found that the UC couldn't steep.
