Hi folks,

So I have a new "fiddle" project! Yippee!
Got my shipment from Wizard Labs- 36 strength PG nicotine, PG, VG, coffee flavoring, graham cracker flavoring.
Downloaded ejuice me up and I'm off and running into the DIY juice world. I realized after overthinking the whole process that's its so easy and CHEAP!!!! It's gotta be at least 10x less expensive than premade!
Mixed up a batch of 18 strength 50/50 blend with 5% flavor of equal parts of coffee, graham cracker and came out great! As I am heading towards unflavored I started very low with flavoring and it turned out pretty good for my first try. Just enough flavor @ 5%.
Poor man's version of "Rudy's Bounty".
I can see how this is going to be fun as well as fill my 'fiddling' need.
To top it all off I have a new milled RM2 coming today. Going to put one of my Hornets up in the classys. After using my lady's new RM2 and seeing how easy it is to use, rebuild, air hole draw, draining design, and best of all the screw off cap vs pulling on that Hornet top all the time I decided to make the switch.

TGIF! It's going to be a great weekend.

Rudy, congrats on your new adventure! DIYing your own juice is the final frontier.....now you can literally vape for pennies a day. Pretty amazing, isn't it? BTW, THANKs for my little care package from Margaritaville this week!!! You're a sweetie!

I wish I knew how!! I try reading the diy threads and I just get more confused... Ugh!!

You are in the same frame of mind that I was. It ended up that I was OVERTHINKING the whole process! On advise received here I simply went to- ejuice me up, downloaded the calculator and the rest was easy! Plug in your nicotine base carrier & strength (PG or VG), strength of nicotine desired, (I am at 12mg) amount of flavor desired ( I am fine with 5%) final PG/VG percentage desired ( I am at 50/50) hit the calculate button and voila you get the recipe. Get a syringe and some bottles and you're good to go! Very small learning curve. Almost too easy, as I said I was overthinking the process. I was impressed with myself as I got a great flavor vape on my first try.
Try it, you'll like it. And sooooooooo cheap! I got 60ml of 36mg nicotine, 60ml of PG, 60ml of VG, and 2 bottles of flavoring ( coffee & graham cracker) for..........$15.95 !!!!! same price as a 30ml bottle of premade! Not only that but it gives you a fiddling project. :)

DIY Juice is great. I spent about $70 on my initial purchase of supplies from Wizard Labs. I had enough supplies to make around 500mL of juice. I just never really had the patience for it. Plus I started working for an e-cig shop and I pretty much get my juice for free from them so I ended up giving all of my supplies to a buddy.

It isn't hard at all to mix your own, and you save sooo much money. I just like overly complicated juices that are hard to replicate. On that note, if anyone ever cracks the Pluid code and has a solid recipe for that, let me know. I will gladly start mixing again if I can figure out Pluid.

I dont know anything about DIY, but if I could figure out how to make pluid I would pay good money for the recipe lol

I'm surprised wizard Labs doesn't sell these things. So much more precise and less messy than anything else I've used. I use glass graduated pipettes because I can get them locally. The whole DIY thing is more addictive than nicotine is.

You mentioned Rudy's Bounty. If you're a Bounty fan, try this one.
Really long URL
It's a mix of BB and Bounty Hunter, I think. I like that calculator. Not mine, grabbed from the DIY forum here on ECF.

I vape 50/50, currently at the 24 mg level. So I bought a liter of that, unflavored, and get concentrated flavorings from FA and TFA/TPA. It's sort of 1/2 DIY. If I want less nic strength, I'll start cutting it with PG and VG.

I use amber and cobalt 30 ml dropper bottles from wholesalevials.com . Six drops of flavoring per 30 ml bottle is about 1%.

I have two bottles of commercial stuff, also 30 ml. That's it.

I use Wizard Labs for all my DIY supplies but actually my supplies consist of the unflavored nic base with pg and then i buy more pg to mix it with so i can get 3mg strength and a little 12mg strength. I do get the Caramel Cappucino flavoring for those times i want a few drops added in a bottle... I don't get all involved in measuring precise amounts because i get the unflavored nic in 18mg at the most :) It is so economical to DIY.
