I know this isn't the DIY forum but i feel less like an idiot around you guys.
So my question, as a nic free vaper, do i need to have a percentage of water/pga in my mixture?

Hypothetically, to get a 50/50 mix with for 10ml (easy numbers)
15% flavoring - 1.5ml
42.5% PG - 4.25ml of PG
42.5% VG - 4.25ml of VG
Is this correct? If water/PGA what would it's percentage be?

Your 50/50 VG and PG should make a juice that is a great consistency. The water or PGA is just an extra to thin it more.
With the REO's it is not necessary to have a thin juice. The can use 100% VG which is a lot thicker. It is what I use.

So basically it is your choice to thin more or not. Be aware that it will decrease your flavor if not factored in.

Most flavorings tend to be PG based, so it adds a little to your PG percentage. I usually use about 10% flavor so I set the calculator to 40%PG to end with a 50/50 mixture. Honestly it probably won't matter much. I doubt you'd really be able to tell much difference in a 60/40 or a 50/50. I hope my explanation makes sense. I'm honestly not entirely sure if it works this way or if the calculator I use factors that in for me, but that has been my normal setup and I'm very happy with it. Just my :2c:!

For a 50/50 0 nic. mix at 10mls. with 15% flavoring would be...

50%=5mls vg.
35%=3.5mls. pg
15%=1.5 mls flavoring (as most flavorings are ussually pg based)

Distiled water and PGA are not necesarry to do this. As others have said the only reason to add these would be to thin your vg down or for maybe a slight increse in TH for some.

Use 0 for water and PGA, your numbers are okay but as mentioned above most flavors come with PG and make sure to add that PG into your numbers, for ex. 10ml, 50/50, with a 15% flavoring WITH PG then 5ml-VG, 1.5ml-Flavoring(PG) and 3.5ml-PG. The thinners add nothing to your calculations, only the stuff that has nic. pg and vg. Good Luck.
