just finished making my first wooden box mod.

bought some wood and thought why not try it out

wood is: zebra wood and 2 different bloodwoods

parts are from mad vapes.


heres what i started with.

and the final product. it uses 2 rcr123a for 6v or 1 18650 for 3.7v. now it just needs a name.lol.but it works great!

here is the insides.full copper plate top and bottom with copper spring.long thick copper wire.still fully serviceable.

i get all the wood from ebay.

Looks like you were a little conservative with having excess wiring. Reminds me of my VV box mod

i was very conservative.lol.the wood is still in raw state, i just havent decide if i want to sand the corners or not.the imr 18650 batt fits alot better than the rcr123a's.i still have lots of wood left and plan on making a few more.a bottom juice feeder and a VV one.

Combine the two and get the best of both worlds

Nice looking mod, you did a nice job on it. I have one question though. Why did you leave all that excess wire?

My guess would be repair. If something shorts he can snip, strip, pull up some of the slack and resolder without having to completely pull the wires out.
