Ok so I have been really intrigued with this board but am really ntimidated by wires and soldering. I need to try this. I need some advice. Can I get a part list so won't order the wrong things? This is my plan. I need it to have a display, on and off somewhere, and I want either 2 18350 or 18500. Box won't matter because I will machine one out of aluminum. I would appreciate some guidance. Thanks.

Can't be easier than this, 4 solder spots. Use batteries of your choice and put an on off switch on one of the battery leads.

Wow finally got my order today took a month to get here which is about the longest i have had to wait on CCS ( CCS = Cheep China $%*&). Average time is usually right around two weeks. Shortest was when i ordered A HID headlight kit for my car it actually got here in 3 days from China Via DHL .
Just hope i got enough to play with $1.75 apiece i couldn't pass that up.

I have a few projects that are pretty close to being done. I couldnt pass up those modules for 1.75 a piece. If i went to digikey and just ordered one lm2596 adj chip the price is crazy. The whole module is less then half the price for just the chip. LM2596S-ADJ/NOPB National Semiconductor | LM2596S-ADJ-ND | DigiKey

Just got my arduino uno today too. You got any good web sites where you learned yours? Havent had to program anything since my Linux course in college. Going to need all the help i can get.

:pop: Can't wait too see what you come up with Java!

 :D

Might be awhile before i post anything up unless i get it done pretty quick. Moving to Colorado in about 20 days so i gots lots of packing to do. Cant wait though 1250 Square foot basement to set up my work shop in
