Hi guys just traded a mod to get an alloy ggts its had a lot of everyday use and the serial number is gone but was #569 you can just make out the TMF on the side but is there any way of getting them re engraved and is it worth it im going to get it fully restored and shiny but wondered about the engraving.

The UK has some really good Gun Engravers. They could do it but it will be expensive and will take lots of time Bub. I have an aluminum GGTS myself that has worn engraving and SN. I just polished it and left it alone. They last forever and hit like baseball (cricket) bats. I chose to leave mine alone. I did replace the original button with a new brass replacement so its got the brass telescope/button/top thing going.

Polish it up to a mirror finish....get rid of all the old engraving if you can during the process; chances are it's so faint and there's quite of bit of work to get it back to new condition, the engravings will probably disappear anyway

Once you have it fully polished, you can get the logo, number, and To My Friend laser engraved. It will then be like it was when Imeo shipped it off to the reseller.

So will Imeo engrave for me Para if i pay him or will i need to have it done elsewhere as i dont have the logo or font?
I would prefer Imeo to do it as its his creation and i would not feel right with someone else doing it.

I will be getting it back to its former glory for sure the guy doing it does fantastic polishing work i had a sandblasted P+ here is a before and after.

The bad thing with sandblasted is that it will get shiny in places where we put our hands and especially on places that "angles" exist. After this it will look a little bad.
In the opossite way shined metals will get even more shiny after use

I agree completely. The media blasting will wear unevenly and in a short time won't look nearly as well as a polished surface.

To answer the OP's question about laser engraving.....most companies that do the process require a jpg of the logo, the font, and the font size of the lettering. "To my friend" looks like Times New Roman so I'd just use it for the number as well. Getting the jpg of the logo is pretty easy...just save one of the dozens that are on GG websites.

It worked really great for the FrankGG I made (the one that a "friend" stole and sold"). I wonder who's using it; since it's a one of a kind I'm sure someone will mention it on a vaper web site sooner or later.
