So I've been looking to upgrade from my starter kit into vaping which was the Joyetech ego-cc smart kit. I've wanted to get something with vv so I went to my local vape shop and asked some questions, the guy behind the counter (which was vaping on an mvp v2.0) suggested it to me and explained the features and benefits of the mvp v2.0 and the price was just right at $59 usd wich was perfect for me as beginner and did not want to spend a whole lot of money. Anyway the guy set it up for me and filled it up with the ejuice I purchased and said he'll start me off at 4.0 volts. The iclear 16 that comes with it is 2.1 ohms I guess my question would be if 4.0 volts is good for the iclear or normal/standard? Would it be better if I up the voltage or is this personal preference? I also have a kangertech mini protank 2 v2 and a smoktech uda rda that I have recently started to rebuild the coils with 32 gauge kanthal with ekowool I normally stay between 2.0-2.5 omhs. What voltage would be recommended for my mini protank and rda? Also what wattage? Also I've read the manual and it says : "Ohms Meter & Battery Level Indicator & Puff Counter:

Hold both the “P” and “U“ buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The screen will show a series of

readings, the first being the resistance of the attached load ( Rx.x , for example R2.2), the second being

the battery voltage, the third being the number of puffs since the device was last turned off and the

fourth being the last set voltage or wattage."

But when I simultaneously press "P" and "U" for 2 seconds it just shows the resistance and the voltage setting but nothing else after that, like no puff counter or last set voltage or wattage. Any ideas? Am I missing something? Sorry if these are Noob questions but like I said I am a beginner

NO....the MVP is my end all mod. if you push both buttons it will only show the ohms of the atty then the amount of charge you have left in the battery. on the side buttons the top is wattage. push, hold, it will show puff counter, then the watts you are set at, not necessarily using as it can only use watts or volts at one time. bottom button is exactly the same, puff meter, then how many volts you are running.
i use kanger T3 tanks exclusively and i always start at 3.7 volts and then go up from there to find the sweet spot, most times it is 3.7-4.0

I don't like the iclear 30s tank it comes with since mine developed a chronic leak ever since i cleaned it for the first time, so i went with the tried and true kanger.

hope this helps.

First the Itaste VV V3 800 mah ego sized VV/VW device does the four readings when both buttons are pushed not the MVP2. The MVP2, when both buttons are pushed only gives the resistance and battery level only. If you push and hold either "P" or "U" button for two seconds it will give you the puff count. If you continue holding one of those buttons it will enter either "U" voltage mode or "P" wattage mode. Once the voltage or wattage numbers are on the screen you can start pressing that same button to round robin through the levels.

The great thing about the VV/VW is start low and slowly move up until you find your happy vape zone! There is no ideal setting as you have to take into account all the variables like tank, resistance, juice....

You made a very good choice in an MVP2. I loved my first one so much I bought a second one. If you ever decide to buy another one therer are a few places online that sell them for $40, not that $59 was a bad price. I think the MSRP is $65. I got my second one here: Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 - Eciggity
