I don't know, I'm not an expert or anything and it's hard to describe. With the tank, to me the vape was cooler and you got a little more of the actual taste of the juice so I agree with you about that. I didn't mind the cooler bit because I vape menthol so I sort of liked that part. With the Riva or ego without the tank I got a 'stronger' vape I guess you could say. That was my experience. A lot of people say the taste is muted with the tank.

Thanks...thats about what I'm getting also. Just need to find a better juice for the Riva to suite its characteristics.

It's like comparing apples and pizza if you are comparing them with different attys and different vaping methods. Their batteries should be near identical voltage-wise (depending on how freshly charged one is versus the other - batteries run a bit stronger right off the charger). You are comparing a tank on a standard resistance (?) atty to dripping on an LR atty?

I see what you mean. I was using the carts on the Riva for comparison also. I was just curious as everyone seems to use or recommend the 510 series as being their go to. I just figured it would be different in terms of flavor after using the ego-t prior to the 510. They are different and wondered what other peeps opinions of the vape where.

I also think cooler attys give me more flavor. My most flavorful atty for delicate flavors is on my tiny M401 and the batteries seem to run at a measly 2.8 volts when I measured two.

But some people are looking for hit over flavor. Fortunately on the Ego and the Riva you have the widest selection of atomizers and cartomizers of any model - all of the 510 threaded and 306 threaded standard and low res attys and cartos.

That makes sense. Thanks. I want it all though...hit and flavor.

I ordered Boge LR cartos. But they are going to look exactly like the Boge SR cartos I use on my slim 510. And I am ALREADY screwing up since I put a Boge black carto on my KR808D-1 too. That one is supposed to be my vanilla and I previously used a white V4L Coolcart and my black was always the cocoa tobacco on the 510. Twice already I screwed up and put cocoa in my vanilla carto. I need paint pens or something. But I worry if I would even look!

I wish Boge would make colored cartos.

Maybe you should order your LR Boge carto's from iVape.net. He sells them cheaper then anybody else I've found, and he puts his website name on the bottom of each carto, that way they would always be different, that is unless you start ordering your SR carto's from him too. (they are on sale for $6.95 for a 5 pack right now, the LR are $7.95 for a 5 pack) or just get some nail polish, and always put a stripe on your LR carto's.
