Just got my e-cigar today from ruyandirect aka heaven gifts

just got it today...not bad...not what i expected tho....so far

i thought it would be a vapor powerhouse...then again im using the stock 16mg high carts...i get vapor...but along the line of my 901

the taste of cigar from the carts is spot on.....im not a cigar smoker but from the few i have experienced it tastes the same.

if i puff it like a cigar it is sooo much like smoking one...to me

if i smoke it like a penstyle...there is little vapor and some throat hit.

my plan is to use up one cart...i didnt buy blanks.....clean it...and put some menthol 50/50 glycerin mix i know vapes like a steam machine on my penstyle...and try it in the e-cigar

I bought one those e-cigars as well form Ruyan direct. Sadly I must inform you they are not gonna produce vapor like a good pen style or even a mini. They are really just to puff on and get small amount of vapor. I was hoping my self it would be a nice power house. Seeing as how it had a bigger battery and etc. In the end I was a little disappointed but at least now we know.

The only pros about this style is the battery life and cart life. And cons are obvious, low vapor production and poor throat hit. I know my self, Scott and a few others will use this product as like a late night snack after dinner. Sit down relax and just puff away.

If you want to get a good throat hit product I would recommend something from Parked at diet smokes.com, A penstyle from Steve at puresmoker.com or a DSE901 from Totallywicked-eliquid.com. You kind find a good kit under 100$ from any of them and you wont be disappointed.

well....its been about 7 hours now...ive been on it all day...and now the cart finally ran out...the batter is still running strong...wow

the cigar flavor and puffing it like a cigar has grown on me...i like it alot.

i just cleaned out the cart and put in my menthol and changed to a fresh battery....ill let ya know how it goes with the menthol.

The problem is the heating coil which does not get as hot as the generics, the same thing applies to the Ruyan V8 of which every pen-style is a copy kind of ironic since Ruyan invented the thing! The exclusive Ruyan liquid might have something to do with it, apparently it is thinner and makes less vapour though it tastes awesome.

Go to the modders forum there is a great thread in which a very clever forum member has diassasembled a Ruyan cigar and rewired a new hotter heating coil himself onto the atomizer! I kid you not! great photos documenting the whole process.

The RN manufacturer has its own cheap knock off e-cigars which apparently pump out vapour like a pen-style but the tube has to be chucked along with a dead atomizer making replacement atomizers expensive. RN apparently have the hottest coils. The RN4072 coil looks very loosely, almost hand wound as opposed to a very tightly and regularly coiled one in the DSE801.

If you go for an e-cigar remember that the batteries are a standard type of which you can get higher capacity ones aftermarket. e-cigars come with 360mAh but the highest I have seen of the same size are a hefty 500mAh; should work on the same charger too.

I am considering getting an RN e-cigar myself but not until I perfect my method of cleaning atomizer coils.

hello all, new member here.

heres what i do with my 4 Ruyan Blings. I have found that it runs better when it is warm or slightly hot. when you get it to that temp it will stay that way and you only need a slight draw believe it or not. i place the tip of my tounge just in front of the mouth piece and pull basicaly just enough to keep the light on. also point it slightly downward so the juice is well in contact with the wire mesh on the atomizer. the ruyan carts with the prefilled liquid tastes great but nothing on the exhale side. i have mine filled with a coffee/butter mixture and i can pull some very nice clouds on the exhale. i clean everything religiously each nite but have found that the ruyans work better if they go uncleaned for max 3 days(just my prefrence). i have owned both a RN and the Ruyans, and i believe the Ruyan is much better once you figure out how she blows the RN i owned crapped out after a week and a half i believe. just gave out on its own, no warning at all. the battery power could be better. I noticed the RN batteries i got in the kit(same as PS.coms) made my Ruyan light up like a X-mas tree instead of the soft glow the stok "Ruyan" brand gives off. But there both the same voltage...what gives????? if anyone knows where to get nicer batteries please post a link. hope this helps

ok..this what i did....it is not easy to draw from the ruyan e-cigar...at least for me..and not as easy as my 801.

i drilled a small hole on the battery cap...now...slightly better draw and much more vapor...i can now hear the gurgle too.

the draw can be better..im gonna see what i can do

i also noticed that the cigar led is not that bright on both of mine....that is strange that the RN batteries pack more punch....hmmm
