Just got my Ego in the mail.

My very first pv. I am in love.

Analog free for 5 hours now! Pretty big deal for me, probably the longest I have gone, willingly, in years.

A big thanks to all of ECF for the help/tips! I think I have the basics down, but am unsure exactly how much juice to refill the carts with.

Any other tips for what I should be expecting in the upcoming days?

hello. glad you got it so soon. i would say don't fill it past 1/4-1/8 from the top or it will be over slushified. you might also want to march on down to your local petstore and pick up marinland blue filler rite sided U, as the filler in the kits doesn't do a very great job of wicking. I had almost no leaks or burnt taste after making the blue foam mod.

Congrats! Feels great, doesn't it?

My tips would be this: When the flavor starts to change and vapor production starts dropping off or becoming inconsistent it's probably time to refill. Just put some more drops on the filler and let it soak in until the top looks slushy like Reggie said. Put it back on and vape away.

If you hear a gurgling sound and you aren't getting any vapor when you take a drag that means your atomizer is flooded with juice. Take the atomizer off, hold a paper towel or tissue to the threaded end and blow it out through the open end until no more juice comes out. Put it back on, stick the cart back on and try again.

Thank you all for the support and tips! I've been free of analogs for a full 24 now, going pretty strong, can't stop smiling (or vaping) :). It is a wonderful feeling. I am starting to get my sense of smell back. Having that much nicotine in my body is a weird feeling, though very similar to drinking too much coffee.
I did some research and found that I have a smoke shop nearby that has Juice, though not sure the quality, or if they have attys and batts.

Well Done! Congrats on your first 24-hrs! I remember my first few days. I kept expecting that "omg I GOTTA have a cigarette" thing to kick in, and being afraid of how I would handle it when it did. But then the first few days went by, then the first week, and now the first month - and that "gotta have a cigarette" thing hasn't kicked in at all. Not even once.

I'm now pretty confident that it's never going to kick in. In fact, I think my brain has already accepted that my pv (eGo-T) is an analog. Several times now, even though I haven't smoked in the house for YEARS, when I'm cooking or something and don't have my pv with me, I get this strange feeling I've left an analog burning somewhere.

After 27 years of smoking analogs (up to 3 PAD), I'm extremely proud to say: I'm an EX-smoker. Now you can say that too! Isn't it great?!

I am in Paccette's shoes and I too am thinking of choosing the ego. I have an old 901 that doesn't do very good anymore and am stuck for now with a lower mg juice and i am hoping those are the reasons why I cannot totally give up the analogs.. So happy for you Pacatteman :)

I can't say anything about the 901, but the eGo has been a wonderful device. I am using 24mg Juice, those together have been enough to turn off that switch that keeps flipping on in my head, and I was a heavy smoker.

you should be expecting

Coughing
wheezing
phlegm
dry mouth
more frequent bathroom trips
sense of smell returning
sense of taste returning
enhanced lung capacity
more friends
a sense of accomplishment
etc.

I love that list. BTW, there's one more that can be added to it. My husband and I just re-did our Home-Owners and Car insurance. Our rates went down 5% because we no longer smoke. That was a pleasant surprise.

Drink LOTS of fluids because vaping not only tends to dehydrate you, it can cause constipation. People forget to mention that one, or perhaps they are too embarrassed?
