No, that does not look good. You should have 2 batteries, and a manual switch is generally better. A one battery system is useless except as a quickie try, you need 2 to rotate. The eGo batteries are bigger, last much longer between charges. Also you need to understand the difference between the main systems available for feeding liquid to the atomizer. Regular cartridges are filled with a plastic foam you saturate with liquid. That feeds liquid to the atomizer but is a bit squirelley. The tank systems use a hollow cartridge and an atomizer with a piercing/feeding tube. Much better. Cartomizers integrate a disposable atomizer and cartridge in one. Expensive unless you refill, and refilling can be tricky. Many people just drip directly onto the atomizer of a cart system, good for a couple dozen drags. Very simple and reliable, you drip a few drops as if you were getting a cig, vape until it gets dry, then drip some more, the cartridge acts as a backup juice source, or you pull the filler out and use it as a "drip-tip" mouthpiece. I like the tank type best. The sucker kits turn people off. They usually hope to sell you prefilled cartridges. Forget that! Get a decent kit and bottles of liquid and you will save money. This is a rather complicated field with a lot of options, if you go for the cheap & simple bait, you waste time and money. So let me give some to the point recommendations. If you're a very light smoker, get a 510 kit. They are compact, like a cigarette, work well, do the job if you never chain-vape (or you'll be swapping batteries day in day out). A kit has 2 batteries, preferably manual switched, two atomizers, charger, carts or tanks. Plus you buy bottled liquid. If you're a heavier smoker go straight to an eGo kit, bigger batteries, more vapor, supports chain vaping. Mike & Carol's (a reputable vendor) has both at a decent price, genuine Joyetech, $39-$68, either tank type or regular cartridge type, and "industry standard" Dekang juices at nine bucks for a big 30 ml bottle. Get one tobacco flavor like marbro and a fruity or whatever flavor. If you're a very light smoker get say 11 mg juice, if a regular smoker get 24 mg juice. This will get you going. You'll learn as you go.

Electronic Cigarettes

If you are a heavy heavy, there's a tank eGo kit with the biggest 1100 mA batteries at a fantastic price, $59, I think they are genuine Joyetech, at myfreedomsmokes.com, which are another reputable vendor.

eGo-T Starter Kit (1100Mah Batteries) - MyFreedomSmokes.com

These are less compact but a charge will keep most vapers going all day.

If you're looking for something comparable to a cigarette, you either gotta get off the whole "has to look like a cigarette" trip or prepare to waste your money and be disappointed again.

A riva or an ego are only around 20 bux more than u spent on the piece of junk. They're not really that big, are way less of a hassle with charging, and using it in public ppl mostly think I'm smoking a black n mild til they get close enough not to smell it.

I don't know if all 510's are created equal, but I have a 510 too and really like it. I just don't use it all day because of battery size, but it's good for on the go. Mine is from Rocky Mount. Vapors and I don't notice much difference as far as performance as my ego. Except, like I said, length of time between charges.

OK so lots of good advice so far. I will add that I started with the Blu kit (which is similar to what you have) and I was never able to quit smoking with it. I got an ego recently and I am very happy with it. I am no longer smoking analogs (regular cigs) and I was over a pack a day smoker!
I personally got my ego from puresmoker (you can click my signature to get to their site) and I love it and their company. Great customer service and I love their juice.

It is all personal preference, but at first I was turned off by "big" PVs. I wanted a cig sized too, but I am so glad I got over that fast and ordered what I did. Heck I got my ego in pink from Puresmoker (my avatar is me with my pink ego, with a black BOGE 510 carto and a pink aluminum drip tip) they have them in stainless steel, pink, black, red, and blue.

My advice: do not worry about size, get one that WORKS and get it in your favorite color to make up for it not being dainty and little. my 2 cents

Hope for the best for you

Love and Peace

Size does not matter quite as much to me as it will to my wife. She def does not like bulk.

She wants something with a good hit, pink, compact, simple & effortless.

Me...I just want good hits without being complicated.

I did get a bottle of menthal 18mg PG eliquid.

There are holes in the battery, and after a few responces I figured out I was covering the holes at times.

We both smoke marlboro menthol smooth.

I smoke a pack a week and she smokes 2 packs a week.

See my above post, and look at my avatar. Mine is Pink, good hit, simple. effortless, and not very big (IMHO)

From the information given

- 510 batt= pretty good battery - seems charged
- "no where near as much "smoke" as a cig".

- "The first carto has hollow air sucking sound"
- "The other carto has a hollow pulling sound and produces almost no smoke."

It's the cartomizers.... I've gotten the same results with cartos from 'reputable' dealers. Some cartos suck, have no vapor and little flavor.

Suggest:
Get an atomizer and some cartridges (replaces the cartomizer) for your battery. And another battery perhaps.

atty: $10
https://www.cignot.com/product_p/51t-att-all.htm

tank: $5
https://www.cignot.com/product_p/51t-tnk-all.htm

ejuice: suggest 18mg. to start $3 - get a few - menthol also available...
https://www.cignot.com/product_p/lip-mrl-m05.htm

Or get the whole kit - you will still be able to use your battery (although you'll have to use the charger you got for it):

Alternative to the tank system:

it just frustrates me to no end to see folks get ripped off by these cheap ecig kits, or mall kits, etc.........kinda like watching a teenager make bad decisions that you made years ago, and you KNOW that you have been there before, and they are not likely to listen to you until they finally learn their lesson on their own...................

She might like the V4L kits. My mom has a pink bedazzled pv from v4l. Sign up for their newsletter and they have huge sales all the time.

She's right about the sales. V4L (Vapor4Life.com)has a 28% off Everything sale going on now. PROMO CODE: SpringCleaning. It's good until 4/26/11. Just and FYI.

Dont give up... you just have to get your equipment right! I smoked a pack-a-day of harsh Marlboro Menthols... and I was able to find what I was looking for in an E-cig. I suggest getting a MANUAL battery 510 starter kit (about $50)... or a Joye EGO, which is a "fat battery" version of the 510 and about $30 more for a nice, full kit. The batteries will last you all day, and they really arent that big at all... quite small in the e-cig world.

Im not a huge fan of cartomizers... I suggest starting with an atomizer/cartridge combo... I like 24mg, but 18 might be enough for you... personally, I'd rather have too much than not enough. Theres nothing worse than puffing away on an E-cig and not being satisfied! Also, my favorite juices come from Backwoodsbrew.net... if you like tobacco flavors, his are amazing... if you like fruit or dessert, he has those too! Prices are great, too... ~$15 for 30ml with coupon code "ECF10" for 10% off.

Vaping is an investment at first, but you WILL save money in the long run... my vaping habit is about 1/3 the price of my PAD marlboro menthol habit. Dont give up, it takes some trial-and-error!

HAH, my dad got that and swears by it. Showed him my ego-t and he was like "what the hell is that?" Uhh its a real ecigarette. I tried telling him that its cheaper to buy online and fill with your own juice. But unfortunately he's a caveman when it comes to using a computer plus he's got too much pride to admit he's being ripped off with these $15 5 pack prefilled cartomizers. I'm just going to buy him a $30 riva 510 from liberty flights and 30mL of juice have him GUESS how much I spent.

Might as well roll up a couple $100 bills tryn vape that with what he's spending on that junk.
