Just got my hands on a new Triade 200!!! Need advice on setup, and sub ohm tank.

Hi,

I'm super excited about the bargain I stumbled upon this weekend at a new to me b&m store. I've always wanted a dna mod, and there it was...on sale! So of course I bought it. Happy days!

Now here I sit, this fantastic new mod I've always been dreaming about, but very little knowledge about how to set it up properly. I know that there is some software you can use to tweak these dna boards, but am ignorant to ask if this.

Any advice would be very helpful.

Also, I'm currently running a Big Baby Beast, but am hoping to upgrade to something with better flavor and longer lasting coils. I usually vape around 30-60W.

Triade is a good mod. Congrats on getting a deal. The Evolve forum and you tube are good places to learn more about using eScribe. Lot of users hear as well. Believe @SupplyDaddy is one of them. Enjoy getting to know your new mod.

Congats on the mod. The Engine is a type of rebuildable atomizer, and it gets great reviews, so if you are looking to start building it may not be a bad place to start. There are tons of RTA/RDA/RTDA options though, you might want to check out the rebuildable atomizer section of the board.

@Eskie I know is a DNA fan. Maybe he can help.
Engine is a dual coil coil and Engine Nano is a single coil. Top air flow, both 5ml capacity, great flavor, and easy to build/wick. I am a Nano junkie and generally have at least 2 in my daily rotation.

A great mod especially if you got it on sale. It's not much different than other mods. Obviously made for tc, but can be used in wattage as well. Most/almost all the good stuff you can you can benefit from are set up in eSribe on a PC, or now a beta for Mac. As @Letitia pointed out, on the Evolv forum is a tutorial/training package to help you see how to get around and do things.

The drop in coils on the Baby Best are Kanthal, which cannot be used in TC. My suggestion when you start to either build coils on either an RBA for the BB, or an RTA, is to use SS. Good in both modes and as easy to work with Kanthal. Enjoy!
