Got my V2 last evening and played with it a little. Today I am using it in earnest. What I noticed is that as I vape the voltage strength tends to increase. How odd!

Still playing I started going through the menus and always leaving it in the Pd mode since I was reducing the voltage many times. This happens after my first couple of toots and then setting it down for a couple of minutes. Then it came to me to leave it in a different mode like Cb. Since then the voltage has stayed put.

Anyone else experienced anything similar? Any guesses as to what I was/am doing wrong? Should this be considered a fault of device or, what I suspect is user error, my inexperience?

Other than this, I am very excited and happy with my V2.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by leaving it in a certain mode. I have 2 provaris. The menu always starts with PU, then continues to scroll down through all the options. I have noticed that many times if I do not firmly hold the button down and just hold it lightly (which I tend to do alot without realizing it), I will look down and see I'm in the scroll down menu by accident because somehow I lightly pressed the button 5 times or so while vaping without realizing it.

Making sure that the last function I was in before waiting to vape was not Pd or Pu. Yes I realize that the default when hitting the button 5 times is Pu. But I was hoping that if the device was hanging in the Pu mode and I started using it, thereby increasing the voltage when activating it, if I made sure to check the battery last, it might hang in the Cb mode and it would not increase the voltage while I vapped.

What do I know? This is my first day and I just want to vape at 4.4 not all of a sudden be at 5.8 without knowing how it happened.

I'll watch out for soft pressing the button, thanks

It happens to me all the time. It's a weak trigger finger. lol. Told someone else about this before on here. Sometimes I get lazy and don't press the button firmly and it quits vaping, I look down and it's in the PU mode. Now I keep the light on under the LO mode so when I press the button it lights up and sometimes I still catch myself weakening my pressing down and see the light turn off while I'm pressing it. Gotta press firmly or it goes into the menu mode if you press lightly too much.
