Just got my vmod xl

So actually hot in a few days ago but I was waiting on 18650 batts. So far... I'm loving it! However, I bought with the express purpose of kicking it. It's too cool a cape for me, even with my 1.5 ohm atty. still waiting on kick clone from madvapes, and I've already lined it with copper tape.... But now I don't want to go back to 18490 batts! They lasted me all day in my provari, but I've heard the kick uses a lot more energy....I know they're ate videos on you tube, but can anyone walk me through kicking with an 18650, with no soldering? Because I'm electrically *special* lol

My kick clone came in today! And to my happy suprise, it goes to 12 watts! Stuck it and a 18490 in set somewhere between 10 and 11 watts, refilled my bottle with berries and cream... Consistency! Blessed consistency! I love my provari but... This is lighter and I don't have to carry a bottle around( though I do anyway, of blue voodoo to direct drip and change it up. I'm loving it! It was too sensitive a fire so I rolled up some electrical tape and shove it on top in front of the kick to bring it a bit lower. Man this is fantastic. Now that I know this is my dream I need to get that faux wood shell lol. Sigh... Next sale I <3 vmod

I thought the kick turned it off when it went to low? My battery is showing 3 volts... At what point does it turn off? Or should I just be going by the lack of vapor? ( which is why I changed batteries in the first place)

Sorry, Tim. I don't know anything about the kick clone and haven't studied up on it. I wish you some good searching.

You most certainly should not be knowing when to change by the quality of the vape --- if so, that kick clone isn't working very well. Steady consistent level vape is the Evolv Kick Magic.

You might do a search here in the APV section. I recall someone saying their clone was draining the battery down to around 2.8v or so. If you are using AW IMR's you would be ok as they are rated down to 2.5v safely.
