I ordered a mini provari last week and got the email today that it has shipped. Pretty psyched about giving it a run through as it's gotten quite the following. I've been vaping for several years, my first ecig was the "smoking anywhere " pos that ran me a good $150 for the "premium" starter kit. Man, the ecig world has evolved exponentially since then! Since then I've owned several 3.7 devices and have been pretty satisfied with the Cisco 1.5 306 attys. I tried numerous cartomizers years ago and wasn't really impressed with the performance so always stuck with ciscos. I also tried 6v with a 2.0 atty not realizing this was way overkill which turned me off to high volt vaping. According to ohms law this was pulling like 18 watts!

Fast forward to this year and got a reo mini cause I started to get tired of constantly dripping on attys. This setup is nice but ran into a bad batch of ciscos that made me curious about cartomizers again. The vaping experience for me should have a solid throat hit, good flavor, and vapor productio, and in that order. Portability is also exteamly important for me, as I like to slip a pv in my pocket and carry with me wherever I go. Along with the mini provari I purchased a 3ml j tank , some 2.0 and 3.0 cartomizers and picked up some hi resis ciscos as well. I've already received the j tank and tried the boge 2.0s on it and although flavor and vapor production are excellent I'm hardly getting any throat which is expected on a 3.7 device ( tried it on a sb) I imagine it's hitting somewhere in the 6-7 watt range which I like closer to 9-10. It'll be nice to dial these in. Also found a free iPhone app of ohms law which is pretty sweet to have handy. So anyway, I'll post a follow up of my provari mini experiece once it comes in, still anxiously awaiting!

So Ive had my provari mini now for a couple of days and what can I say? This thing ROCKS! Rock solid device, and its cool to be able to check ohms of the atty/carts and battery life. One battery lasted me all shift at work (about 2ml of liquid) so pretty happy about that. Ive tried a cisco 3.0 at 5.5v and the 2.0 boge in a j tank at 4.7v and vapor/throat hit/flavor are amazing! I'm vaping on pink spots black mamba juice, and the the flavors are really coming out.

Something I did notice in the cartomizer using the j tank is that I have to top up every now and then as the top part dries out and flavor/throat hit diminishes. The carts were pre punched and not slotted. Will have to play with it some more to figure things out. I might try slotting some and see if it wicks better. But overall really impressed with the provari and the build quality, one happy customer here :)

Hi shack. Glad to hear your enjoyment. I have been doing nothing but a praise for my provari. It's been a dream. I rarely use my twist even and that's not a bad device.

The j-tank. Yup. Same problem. My wife and I order two of everything pretty much. So. Two j-tanks equalled the same result. It seems like the cart doesn't stay as moist in the J as we hoped. It's a shorter carto so what's the problem right? Is the pressure a little too wide? Well we switched to taller tanks. Narrower but taller. Basically to the XL tanks. Result? Vape it to the bottom. So not sure why but give the XL a try and you'll likely ind the same.

Enjoy!

Ordered my first during the Pre-Order, been using one or another ever since. Slowly giving all the other stuff I had away to others that want to try it, (vaping). It's so cheap, peaceful, and satisfying when you finally arrive at the hardware/eLiquid combo that you want to use. been using the same thing for more than a year now. DIY cost is .006 per mL. Can't get much cheaper than that. JMHO

Cheers,

I'm currently using the mini sub tank by mom and pop vapor with a 3 ohm boge and it's vaping like a champ. The tanks are super cheap, $9.50, and are a breeze to refill with the side fill screw. Not the most aesthetic looking but gets the job done. The trap tank has the similar filling method and looks amazing but they are going for $50. Just bought two gg Penelope's so I'm a little out of my vaping budget this month : )
